This is a lovely place, very tastefully decorated. Our server was great very friendly and efficient, she came and checked on us and was very quick to respond to any requests. Our food was excellent, I had a delicious sandwich and my friend had an omelet which she said was very good. Maybe I'm feeling nostalgic, but the food just isn't the same as back in the day. It's not bad persay, just the wow factor isn't there like it used to be when they had a lazy Susan full of different syrups. Eggs and sausage were ok, hash browns could have been more done. French toast really was bland. Like I said, not the worst food, but it just seems it could have been so much better.

I order the breakfast combo. The over easy eggs were way over cooked. I asked for more butter for the pancakes, never received any. The manager did remake the eggs, but by the time I received them, I was mostly finished with my breakfast. My wife and I will not return.

Tried to stop here on February 3rd for lunch about 1pm. There was a note on the door that said "closed due to unforseen circumstances" obviously went somewhere else.

Went here with my family on 2/3. Got seated fairly quickly and placed our order. While we were waiting for our food, the manager stopped by neighboring tables to tell them that they couldn't complete their orders because of some issues with cooks or kitchen (turns out the cooks just quit and walked off the job). We waited for a while longer but no one came to give us any updates on our order so we finally got up and left.The manager should have made an announcement to the entire restaurant so that customers aren't left wondering while they see other people get dismissed without food. Moreover, the manager definitely should have offered food vouchers at least to people who couldn't get food if not to everyone there.So, now we'll scratch this restaurant off our list of food options in Fondy (even tho I really like IHOP).

We got to ihop, and it didn't take very long to get seated, and to get drinks. However after ordering our food it took about an hour to get our food (we ordered around 5:10pm, and got our food around 6:10pm). I don't think we ordered anything to complicated. I ordered a pancake combo (2 pancakes, Sunnyside up eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and hash browns.) The person I was with ordered the waffle combo (1 waffle, scrabled eggs, sausage, and potatoes.) The food ended up good, and warm but an hour is way to long for a restaurant that wasn't very full.
