Absolutely wonderful food! We’ve been here every year for Valentine’s Day for the past three years. Exceptional service and fantastic food! The Sassy Ginger Cocktail and the Love Potion are my new favorite drinks.

The hostess/bartender/waitress was perfect and so was my salmon. This is currently the best food in fdl.

The food, atmosphere and staff are always amazing and I would definitely recommend for a more high end dinner out.

Called for breakfast today at 10:25 am Sunday August 15, and was informed that they were closing in 15 minutes... How do you expect to do business on a weekend if you're not open?

This restaurant is my favorite. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The crew is very cordial and the cooking they serve is so yummy. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

FANTASTIC service. Beautiful atmosphere. Good food. You'll feel like you stepped back in time. Truly a diamond in the rough. Didn't expect to find a place of this caliber this far from the big city!

We ordered room service twice during our hotel stay. We had a great experience with breakfast. The food was delivered fast, the meal was hot, and we enjoyed the food. But dinner that same night was a disaster. We called twice to place our order and nobody answered; our call was routed to the hotel front desk both times. On the second time, the hotel desk told us they'd have the restaurant call our room to take our order, but that never happened. When we called back and were re-routed to the desk a third time, the desk staff took our order and forwarded it to the kitchen for us. 100+ minutes later, the food finally was delivered. It was lukewarm, we were missing an appetizer, and we were missing 2 drinks. I called down to the restaurant right away. (Finally got through!) They said they'd bring it up right away. 30 minutes later, they showed up. They claimed the front desk staff had never communicated the appetizer, which I'm skepticalof because they repeated the order back to me with no mistakes. Then, they said the drinks had been initially forgotten because we'd ordered Pepsi but they serve Coke. Really? So, instead of calling our room to confirm, you just ignore the drink order? (Also, when I ordered, I said "Pepsi, Coke, or whatever cola you have," so...) The dinner food was okay but nothing great. Maybe it would have been better if it was hot. We will stay at the hotel again, but we will never order from the restaurant again.

We weren't charged for the drinks or appetizer, but the overall experience still ruined the meal.

The hotel/restaurant is beautiful. My wife and I were blown away when we walked in. The service was great. The food however, was not so great. We first tried the calamari which tasted a little weird and didnt look much better. I then had the "Fondue Lac soup" which had pieces of popcorn on top of it (weird) but it didnt taste any better than it looked. I then had the rocky Mountain rib eye steak. That was good. I had the Jack Daniels sauce with it (which I did not like). My wife had the steak salad and she said that was ok.

Some of the worst service and meals we have had in a very long time. I would highly discourage anyone from dinning there. Food was subpar. The order was taken incorrectly, we were one of 3 tables and it an excessive amount of time to get service and our food. Overall it was a horrible experience.

The bartender was knowledgeable and efficient. The cornmeal crusted walleye was gluten free and flavorful. My travel companion had the cheese curds which he said were very good... Wine selection was strong.

My husband and I stayed the night at Hotel Retlaw and decided to eat here partly because of the reviews and the unpleasant weather outside. It was nice not having to leave the hotel. We sat at the bar and had a few delicious drinks before dinner. There was one other couple. The bartender was friendly and gave us a bit of history about the hotel. When we sat down we were the only people in the restaurant. I was slightly uncertain about what the food would be like because it was not busy. It was amazing! I had the walleye and it was one of the best pieces of fish I have had. So glad we decided on Jazzmine's. I love supporting local businesses. Give it a try!
