“First time eating at this restaurant, and we had a blast! It was a super busy Saturday night, but we managed to be sat for a table of 10 with a short notice reservation. “If you want an amazing Friday fish fry, this is the place for you. Generous portions of pearch, walleye, haddock, baked chicken, or a mixture of all of them. If you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right by it. The food is prepared in a kitchen that you would expect to find at someone's house and the food tastes like it. Growing up in WI, eating fish on Friday's almost my whole like, I've never been to a place this good. Still go back anytime I am in town visiting family. “Double bubble?! DOUBLE TROUBLE!Stopped in at Frenchies after dinner to check out the local flavor. It's cash only and extra casual at this local working person's bar. Hoodies, beanies, flannels and jeans is the dress code at this cozy dive.I ordered a gin and soda with lime and was asked if I wanted short or tall. I said tall but not because I wanted two shots. Rather I wanted more soda water. The bartender obliged. Once I hit the ATM and had cash he made quick change and put a little plastic cup on top of the pile of money. I asked the guy sitting two seats over what the deal was with the little plastic cup. He replied,"It's a free drink. Double bubble."10 out of 10 would recommend.“
