I've stopped at Tucker's a few times before for their cheese curds, but never had a full meal from them. On my way passing through Fond du Lac during lunch I decided today was the day. I ordered the #8, which is a half pound cheeseburger, and got seasoned fries instead of regular fries for the side. I also ordered cheese curds like I usually do. The cheese curds are great. The breading is nice and crunchy and the cheese is hot yet not oozingly so, letting it still retain the texture of a fresh cheese curd. I personally think they're very similar to the kind of cheese curds that Culver's sells, so if you like theirs you'll like these as well. I would rather support Tucker's and get theirs instead of Culver's though. I wish every restaurant offered seasoned fries or at least the chance to upgrade to them like Tucker's does. The seasoned fries were perfectly crispy and not boring like a normal fry usually is. It would be nice if the seasoning had a little bit of pepper in it just to give it a kick, but that's being picky. You can see and taste the difference between Tucker's fresh made burger and a generic frozen burger patty from any other fast food restaurant. Even with three pieces of cheese on it I did think that the cheese got overpowered by the flavor of the meat, especially on the edges where the cheese didn't quite reach to the outside of the burger, but the quality difference is worth the extra cost.

The past couple of times we visited the meals were made the way we asked. This last time mine was fine but my friend said that his was sloppy, meaning to much, ketchup, mustard and mayo.

The food is always superb! This time though I seen a girl inside complaining about me ordering so much soup. I think employees forget that people can see in the window.....and I read lips n body language! Gonna chalk it up to her having a bad day, n leave it there. Life is to short to stay upset about the small stuff.
