“I was very surprised by the number of gluten-free items available. I had the ribeye with asparagus and Parmesan risotto. I also had a bowl of the tomato bisque soup. It's so hard to find gluten-free soup so I was very happy! Everything was very delicious. Tennille was my server, and she was very personable!“
“We had a family gathering for lunch a couple of days after Christmas - not exactly high season for the resort. It suited me, as it was rather quiet. There were 11 of us in the party and we did four separate checks. Things got a little messed up, but nothing major - and kind of to be expected with that many checks and people. The service was prompt and professional. The food was hit and miss. The brisket was quite tough for one person, and the wrap for the two of us that had it lacked flavor - it needed a little something. No one else commented. As far as ambiance, you'll like it - right on the water with high windows looking out.“
“Honestly did not expect to find delicious, authentic Mexican food up this far north but here we are. The chorizo was bomb and cooked perfectly while the waffle was the best we have ever had.The service was fantastic. He was attentive and nice and was quick to recommend dishes and toppings when asked. All around, this was the best dining experience my wife and I have had in a while.“
“We originally came here when they first opened and were here this past weekend. I love all the options to choose from. They have options for kids to drink as well, the pretzel bites are great. One thing most people might not know is you are allowed to bring in outside food to eat while you drink. They also have merchandise for sale like t-shirts, hoodies and hats.Parking: Street parking can be paid or there are plenty of free public parking depending on time of day or season.Kid-friendliness: There are kid friendly drink and food options.“
“We stopped at Harts Saloon Monday for some dinner; we were greeted by the employees and invited to sit anywhere! Sam, our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very neat and comfortable! What really blew us away was chef Matt! He came to our table, thanked us for coming and chatted with us about the menu and his personal favorites. We took his recommendations and oh goodness! Both were amazing! It isn’t often the chef comes to your table and chats with you, makes recommendations, asks how you liked it and invites you back-with sincerity! We will definitely be back!!!“
“Honestly there's not that much cool in Harvard, but this place may be the coolest. It hardly seems like it when getting here. Rush Creek Distillers is far away from the main parts of town. Basically in the middle of corn fields. The liquors are first class though. Came here from the Metra station and made a walk that got us wondering if we would ever get here. It's on the far northwest side of town, close to only a few manufacturing garages and that kind of stuff. The building is pretty unremarkable from the outside, and you wood have no idea what it was. It's about $8 for the cheapest cocktails. The 943 is a good one. Simple and sweet ass concoction. This is made with Malabar Spiced Liqueur, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Another one is the Whiskey Sour, a classic. This is made with 25% Wheat Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and homemade simple syrup, garnished with a cherry and orange slice. Even though there's no real food menu, you can make a charcuterie board. They have cheeses, meats, and olives. Great place for getting seriously crafted cocktails. It has bottles for purchase. Try some things here and then get some for wherever.“
“Waiting on my wife who is across the street at a bridal shower so I needed a place to hang out, the idea of being surrounded by a bunch of screaming woman is pure torture to me, ok so here's the review I parked at legends and walked in the place is clean and well lit, I ordered the old fashion burger and it was cooked perfectly the onion and the tomato were fresh and both crisp and it's the best burger I've had in awhile, I upgraded to the sweet potato's fry's and I'm glad I did they were very flavorful and honestly I'm not sure if that's a word but you get the picture, if I'm ever in the area I'll gladly go back the staff is friendly and polite and the entire visit was a pleasant experience“
“My husband and I had dinner here and it was FANTASTIC. I don’t know where to start on describing how great our meal was. Everything was delicious, the drinks were amazing. The service was wonderful! Everything was perfect. This restaurant was also super busy and packed (a sign of a good restaurant) and we still were able to be served at a good pace!“
“My friend and I popped in yesterday for the first time. There are many places to grab a drink but there's something about Kimkasi Pub that feels more special. The drink menu was extensive with many interesting options. The fresh pretzels were a tasty surprise to tie us over until dinner. The bartender was kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our hour here. Check it out and see if you agree!“
