“Peking Chef is located in a strip mall. They seem to have mainly pick up and delivery options, but there are tables to eat there. Place your order in the back of the restaurant. It helps to look at the menu online before coming so you aren't standing there trying to read all they have to offer. The daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special, which came with a choice of white or fried rice, egg roll of choice (shrimp, pork, or veggie) or crab Rangoon, or soup. She got the fried rice and pork eggroll. I was going to order the Chinese fried chicken, but it didn't come with anything, so I opted for the pepper steak with the same choices for sides. I chose the fried rice and veggie egg roll. We also ordered crab Rangoon, which came with six large pieces. Our server brought the food out to us in to-go containers, which was very helpful because there was a lot of food. He brought Styrofoam plates and also brought us a bag to put all of our leftovers in. The food was very hot and had a nice flavor. The Rangoon had a touch of sweet without being too sweet like I've had elsewhere. Our waiter offered to bring us water, but we bought a can of Coke to share. There are other varieties of Coke products to purchase in either can or bottle. Everything we ordered came to under $30, which I thought was very reasonable. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.Vegetarian options: Many options that are meat free but I'm sure if you asked for something without meat, they would happily not add it.Dietary restrictions: Let the staff know of any issues.Parking: There is a large parking lot with many stores and a physical therapy office right next door so disabled parking wasn't available for us.Kid-friendliness: Lots of choices for all palates.Wheelchair accessibility: No problems getting into the restaurant. There is a one door entry that pulls out. To get up onto the sidewalk can be tricky. We were unable to find disabled parking, so we had to park in a regular spot. The sidewalk to the business has a step all the way around except right where the accessible parking is located and there is a ramp. There aren't a lot of accessible spots, so plan on looking for a ramp to access with a wheelchair, walker, or scooter.“

“New owners still getting their feet grounded. Sort of an unusual place. Mexican and Thai food. Talked with the owner, a very nice guy. They are still experimenting with the menu choices, based on the customer preferences. We would dine again.“

“There is no place to sit as they are understaffed. Remembr to call ahead, There is a 30 minute wait time. They are closed on Sunday and Saturday. The person in receptionist is super friendly. I do wish they would let people sit. There are only 2 seats in the reception where you have to sit for 30 minutes to get your order ready.The portion size is huge. I ordered a fried rice. 3-4 people can easily eat this.“

“Wife and I went for a long walk along the east side then decided to look for a sushi restaurant. Found this place close by. We ordered 5 different rolls and some veggie Stirfry w a side of rice. Everything was excellent! We had a great experience. Reasonable prices. We would go back.“

“I grossly overestimated the amount I could fit in a dumpster bag, and had a driveway filled with debris. So glad I found Mekong! They were fast, responsive, friendly, and offered a fair price (better than the dumpster bag pickup would have been). Your search for junk removal ends here.“

“This is one of those places where I can try something new every time, and it's always incredibly flavorful. I tried my friend's dish, Nam Kow with ham, and it was the best tasting dish I've ever had! Everything is so tasty, and the staff is quite friendly.Vegetarian options: Any dishes can be made without fish sauce or components, and made with tofu as the main protein. (So yummy!)“

“Wife and I were recommended this restaurant. The place is small, but just fine - like an old school mom-and-pop diner atmosphere. Service was very quick and attentive. The food was decent, and certainly gave you enough, but they put more towards pure heat than the flavor of the ingredients (my wife had mild while I had medium). We'd go again the next time we're in that area.“

“One of the best spots in Milwaukee for Thai food, and my personal favorite. While other places in town are good as well, there's something special about the vibrant color of the curries, as well as the consistency of the food from order to order. I discovered this place during COVID, when it was carry out only, and easily ordered from them once a week in late 2020 - early 2021. It's still a wonderful spot for carry out, and the restaurant itself isn't large, but I am happy to have the option to enjoy the food in the restaurant now as well. The main server, a kind Thai lady who has never given me her name, always calls everyone honey and is genuinely excited and appreciative when the food is complimented. The entire atmosphere is a good, cozy mom & pop kind of place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. 10/10.“

“Ordered the Pad Thai for pickup, it was ready prior to my order time, and when I arrived at the location the person at the front was going out of their way to assist another customer with small children, helping bring food out to their car. Thought it was terrific customer service. The Pad Thai was well made and I'll be returning on my next trip to town.“

“I knew my night would be crazy, so I placed a to go order to make sure I got in dinner early. My order consisted of beef pad see ew and pork egg rolls. The pork egg rolls were fantastic. Really good size, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor. I would order these again in a heartbeat. The pad see ew is ok. I didn't think there was enough egg in it, I wasn't overly fond of the white onion, and both the broccoli and carrot seemed like they were added afterwards and not cooked in the sauce with the noodles and beef because they were harder than expected and didn't absorb any of the flavor of the sauce. Certainly not my favorite pad see ew in the area, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting it again.“

“Very hip space and friendly staff. It was easy to get a spot here for a weekday lunch, though I could imagine it gets busy for dinner. The moo ping (pork skewers) came recommended and were delicious, perfect texture and very tender meat. The Bermuda Triangle roll was very good though had a bit too much sauce. They have a kids menu with meals for only $6 and daily specials, including half off select bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Overall highly recommend and look forward to coming back!“

“One of the best stops for lunch to go / pick up in the 3rd ward area downtown.The lunch specials are a good go-to. You can get one or two entrees. It’s been my go to, but today I did notice the price was $3 more than what was marketed on their chalkboard.Grab a meal to go, stay at their bar, or take it upstairs. You can park in the public market and get a free 1 hour voucher as long as you save your receipt.“

“Ordered Togo from here because it was the most affordable food options on Uber Eats and boy am I happy we did! In this economy, Thaibbq is the most affordable take out option with an abundance of food! We got the fresh spring rolls, tofu pad Thai, crab wontons, and Pad Laos Pork Noodle. All very good besides I probably won’t get the fresh spring rolls again. They weren’t bad just not for me. Crab wontons were a pleasant surprise on how good they were and both our noodle dishes were 10/10. I joke as DanDans crab wontons are $16 and theirs aren’t even half as good as these. Will come in for dine in next time!“

“Back in Milwaukee for a college reunion and HAD to make my first stop at King and I and they did not disappoint! I was accidentally given the wrong spice level on my noodles and called to see about a refund. Not only did the woman work with the owner and management to get me a full refund, but they also redid my order and delivered it to me for free! Customer Service like no other here. 10/10 all around!“
