Long wait for the fish fry even after opening! Fish was good, but had a bone. Would definitely go back again though! Worth the wait. Not much of a bar area to wait around in. Was standing area only. Coleslaw and pancakes were really good as well!Parking: Had to park in church lot across the street.

Food is great .., drinks great … average prices … the issue is three times I watched a group of four and five walk in and get seated before our group of three … I even asked and was told “they have a larger group” so it’s not really first come first serve … it’s greed and I think it is terrible business practice … after being a 10 year customer … that 90 minute wait did me inNo more

This is my go to whenI crave a traditional Northwoods fish fry without have to drive up North to do it.There is always a wait,but it is well worth it!The fish is light and the batter crispy golden brown.You also get all the traditional sides you expect and great old fashions make you feel like you're in the Northwoods. Truly my favorite local fish fry!

Great food, better than my mother’s best and she was a great cook. We had Weiner schnitzel and have tried the liver so tender and tastie. Red cabbage was a traditional favorite. And we had the Black Forest torte which was so delicious. Will be back for more. The Atmosphere is more casual with a bar like knotty pine look typical of northern Wisconsin.
