The food was great. The cashier lady is probably the worst customer service person I’ve encountered yet. She had an attitude from the moment we opened the door. Never looked up, not even once. Owner should definitely reconsider having her up front. You can tell she HATES her job. Can’t be working in customer service if you hate talking to people.

I have been to this location several times on my visits back home spending time with my mom. I live in Detroit but grew up in WI. My mom lived in De Pere. On Friday 2/23/24 my husband and I made the trip to De Pere to help move my mom from the hospital to hospice care because her health took a sudden turn and she had been at most a week to live. On her move from the hospital to hospice facility she had to stop at the A&W to get her rootbeer float one last time. We all went through the drive thru in 3 different cars (family members from other parts of the state and other states all caravaning to spend time with her). We were all behind each other in drive thru with no other vehicles in line, total of 3 cars. My mothers boyfriend had ordered and got out to give us coupons to me in one car and to other family members in car behind us. The woman taking orders screamed in microphone at us. Did not ask us politely at all, came onto the microphone and started screaming. It was so loud and high pitched we couldn't understand what she was saying. When my mom's car got to the pay window I could hear this woman yelling at my mom's boyfriend. When I got to the window, she snatched the coupon and card out of my hand and didn't reply when I said hello. When she handed my card back she didn't offer a receipt. She handed us the food and we waited for our drinks and she opened the window and said "What?! my hands are cold!!" I said ok, just waiting for our drinks but she slammed the window on me before I could finish. She came back with our root beer floats which were spilling over and the top came off. I said thank you tried to ask for a receipt and she slammed the window in my face again. Each time I came home for a visit and I would take my mother to this location after her dialysis appointments and we had to deal with this individual, she has always been nasty. I don't know her name because she did not have a name tag on, we could not get a receipt, she has dark hair and glasses. She should not work with the public. My mother passed 3 days later and I am so sorry this had to be her last experience at one of her favorite places to get her favorite treat.

The person that's been working there for over 15 years shouldn't be, she is very rude, somewhat deceitful I could go on and on. My issue should be brought up at corporate office. I have a lot more to say I definitely will not go to that location ever again.

Food was excellent (affordable and delicious), they really need to work on there service. She was rude and I could tell that she hates her job, because of this I will probably be going to a different (location), if I receive the same kind of service then I will go to a different restaurant.
We will never go to this location again. Love A&W and their root beer floats; however the nasty lady working there should be fired immediately. We ordered 2 orders of chicken tenders and was not asked if we wanted sauce. Got to the window and said what sauce we needed and she says in a very mean tone you said you didn't want sauce. We said no you didn't ask. She goes to get the sauce and comes back and says you said you didn't want any and while we are saying thank you slams the window shut. Food was good but we will visit another locator from now on.
