“Visited Green Bay this past weekend and ate here both days for breakfast. Food was delicious (Eggs Benedict was ?), service was great, and ambience was amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast while in GB. I know I will definitely be back if I’m in town again!“
“Stopped into Blue Collar this afternoon. The Bartender was not only friendly but also apparently a mechanic. Jess, served us our drinks and fixed kitchen equipment at the same time! Let's just say it seems as though thier staff goes above and beyond. Great drinks! Great food!“
“Typical Green Bay bar. Very quiet on weeknights after 10. We were looking for more social interaction, but there were very few people there. I'm sure it's better on weekend nights. My friend loves this place for the golf video game. Bartender was very nice and responsive.“
“Went to Duke's for the first time last Friday and I can't wait to go back!! Had an awesome time- drinks were great (highly recommend the apple pie shot :D ) and the atmosphere is great. Owner is so friendly and hands-on. Didn't try the food, but I sure will soon!“
“This is an A+++ local bar. Owner bought us a beer. Son working the bar. Free peanuts and throw the shells on the floor! Juke box plays great music. Women's bathroom was nice. Snacks available. We were just visiting but they treated us like family. Definitely would come back if we are in the area.“
“We had our daughter's birthday party here, and it was an absolute blast! The staff is SO friendly. They answered all my questions with kindness. They let us come in early to set up the party room and let us stay a bit extra at the end. They answered all my questions and helped me come up with a solution for a little schedule mishap that happened on our end. It wasn't too loud or overly crowded. I felt comfortable with the kids running around as it was super easy to keep an eye on them. They take very nice care of the lanes, too! And as a mom who does her research, I can say that without a doubt, they have the best bowling party prices around! If you are looking for a place to host a party or just bowl a couple rounds, I highly recommend Village Lanes!“
“I was here on 1-26-24 for my Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry. I had the perch platter. The Perch here is so delicious, flavorful, And just melts in your mouth. The customer service is always top notch. The Food Is always so good. The ope Inna glass and Badger Inna Glass here are both recommended. Always on point. They sell merchandise! The place is a historic site and since they opened in 1932. 92 years in business for a reason. I definitely recommend this place. Great place to go with family and friends.#FoodieDuaneTheWisconsinite“
“Saw the Bloody Mary picture on google. They use an ingredient that many others don't. Makes it taste even better. Got to go there to find it out. The toppings bar was awesome as well. Bartender Terry was spot on, taught us new bar dice games, and was great to talk with. Nice decor. Would be a great place pre-Packers game. From out of town but will be sure to stop in next time I am in town.“
“Absolutely love it here! Family run business Every time I walk through the door I get greeted the food is always fresh and hot The hamburgers are awesome fresh hamburger never frozen! daily food specials. Grill is open from 1pm 8:30pm Monday ,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in them Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11am-8:30pm Great place to try! Thank you Aaron“
“We celebrated Duke’s 15th birthday party at Bark & Brew and it was outstanding! Tara the owner and the staff were amazing! Everyone was so attentive, friendly, approachable and so helpful- couldn’t have asked for better service! Great place to hold an event or to take your doggo out to socialize and grab a drink!“
“If you wanna go somewhere where you pay to play music over touch tunes so the bartender can skip all your songs. (Even music from the arcade games). This is the place to go. Good chance the machines will take your tokens but not give you a credit. Seems to happen alot.“
“Passed through Green Bay for the Lions Packers game. While in town we stopped in to this dive. Cheap drinks, 19th century pub, no frills establishment was great. Down to earth people, friendly and home to a mostly working dart board and pool table as well. Pop in and have a pint.“
“This place is now called The Sand Box. The food is awesome for bar menu food. We had a perch dinner with tots and everything was cooked and seasoned just perfectly. The owner was on site and everyone was very accommodating and pleasant to interact with. We received 3 nice perch fillets for $14.50. It included dark rye bread and a nice slice of onion with tasty coleslaw. We will definitely be back.“
“This is a pretty rustic bar environment. It has tasty frozen pizzas that they serve and it's generally open late. Very inexpensive. There's a stage and they regularly have live entertainment that features up and coming bands, giving bands a start and some seasoned ones as well. It can be a fun later stop at the end of a night.Been here several times.Suggest having bottled beer here. It's very well priced. This isn't a place I'd recommend having a Guinness at all but very happy to have a place to just walk in and catch some live music.“
“Amazing staff, quick and cordial service. Much more down to earth than some other bars in the Green Bay Area. Burgers are 100% the best from a bar that I’ve ever had. Cheese curds and curly fries are definitely a must-have when eating here. Everything is reasonably priced. 10/10 would “
“As part of our pub crawl this place was one of four stops on this one block. We enjoyed our time here, which was made up of a mixed age group. The folks here were amicable, the drinks good to go and they had a medium sized pub dog surfing the grounds looking for scraps from patrons. That was different and kind of cool (the scavenging dog). They had a popcorn machine and a kind woman brought us a couple bowls of some freshly popped corn, without asking. We played some darts and did a 4-way shot off a ski (that was something different). We enjoyed our time here for sure.“
“I get treated so good here. I’d highly recommend the atmosphere for the card players, the patio, Friday karaoke, and all special events. My dad is 89 and they treat their seniors with respect. He loves the atmosphere and how friendly it is.“
“This was the most friendly and accommodating bar of the 4 we went to the night before our Lions took on the Packers.100 handles of beers, pool table, foosball table, NFL on all TVs, two separate serving stations, and an overall great atmosphere. Recommended“
“Besides the bartenders being welcoming and engadged with you as a customer, the other patrons were awesome in all my times here! It's easy to have a good time, meeting new people. Prices are decent and as a bonus in my eyes , the bathroom has always been the cleanest bathroom at a bar I've ever seen!“
“Great home cooked food. Definitely a tavern atmosphere but serving great home cooked food. Respectful patrons allowed only. Rude people not tolerated here. One of the cleanest bars I've ever been in. Have been here many times and will be here many more.“
“Ist time there, had their perch plate and was impressed with my dinner. Large portion of fish (lightly breaded) great value and I struggled with finishing it. I had a pile of fries, large cole slaw and large slice of rye bread with onion.Look forward to going back. Forgot to take a picture...ugh“
“If you're a chicken wing person this place has the best wings in the whole state of Wisconsin.. when I go I order wings and a lot of them and bring them home the best wings ever atmosphere is clean bartenders are friendly great place..!!!!❤️“
“Bartenders here are very friendly and make sure your refreshed at all times! You can come into this establishment and not have to feel like your unwelcome. Everyone staff and local people that come here have and are friendly and welcoming. You can make many memories and always know you will have a great time!!! Cheers to good times her at Old School“
“Everyone that lives in Green Bay has to go to Jill's at least once! It's one of GB's oldest bars and a classic townie/dive bar. The drinks are cheap and most people keep to themselves. Don't expect anything fancy. Simple mixers and domestic beers for the most part. It's not a big bar, so I wouldn't recommend bringing a group of people. This is one of my favorite spots for karaoke. They do it on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The stage is behind the bar, so you're definitely under the spotlight when it's your turn to sing. You'll hear a lot of country songs, so I was like to shake it up. Regardless it's a good time. Before you leave, remember to get a Jill's koozie!“
“I've never been to this Bar. Went on a Friday night put 10 bucks in the jukebox. The Stereo sounds kick ass. Bartender is cool as hell. Everybody had a great time. Like I said, the stereo is really kick ass. Good quality speakers, great people, hot bartender lol“
“Five stars in the neighborhood, locally-owned bar category. If you're looking for artisinal drinks or a dance club or place to dine, this isn't it (although they do have pizza). And that's a good thing. But they're happy to welcome newcomers. There's an older crowd from 11:00 am - 5:00 ish, and it's a bit younger from 5:00 on.The owner, Kim, does a great job of keeping the place looking good... and very clean (unlike some local bars).Very good drink specials-- you won't pay more than $3.50 for beer or $4.50 for a cocktail-- and that's the everyday price. There's a juke box, but most often the sounds are from good conversation around the bar or from a sports event or show on TV.Bartenders are awesome and make you feel welcome.Good place for Packer game watching.Convenient location just off of East Mason on Cass.“
“First time ever stopping at this establishment. Last Friday night about 6pm. It's very clear there is a specific crowd of regulars catered to here over all others. Wait staff was great, when we saw her... Ten minute wait for a mixer refill isn't all that bad in a packed house. We get it. You're Chambers Hill, you're busy. One hour and thirty five minute wait on the fish plates. That to me is kind of ridiculous. Anywhere else in brown county you will be under an hour, even at River St Pier, the Rite Place, Redwood etc.Perch plate was so salty I couldn't even finish it. Could be a fluke batch of breading? Other halfs plate was perfect. Fries are to die for. Slaw and bread that comes with the perch are also perfect.Great if you have some time to kill. Not so great if you've worked up an appetite on a Friday along with a powerful thirst. Probably have to be at this place well before 5 on a Friday without having a long wait. You'll be tipsy by the time your food arrives otherwise.“
“Haven't been to Cropsey's for several years. Always love Brewer numbers and Packer numbers. Practically any sporting event is available upon request. Nice outdoor back patio and designated inside area, which is heated during the winter months! Gotta love it!“
“Events on and off (karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights)Bartenders were fantastic! Bar food available. Prices on drinks are good for the area. One pool table. Dart board. Gaming machines. Smoking room and patio are available. Not a lot of parking.“
“By far THE BEST Margaritas in Green Bay or anywhere else for that matter. The staff is awesome well trained and customer driven. Such a great place to meet friends and relax. This bar doesn't serve food but if you ask they do have free chips & salsa.“
“Oh good place better people!!!! So much fun karaoke Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays!!! Awesome DJ plays request drinks are good not too pricey they have different local shows sometimes all around great atmosphere to enjoy yourself any day of the week really ❤️❤️❤️“
“Great bar owner is awesome the bartenders are some of the best ive ever seen and i worked in alot of bars i gotta say the bartender kelly is great friendly funny cute sarcastic love goin there when shes there i think she works wed, thurs, and sundays from 3-8 you should go see her or the other great ones jen, crystal, brian and carol its worth it u definitely will have a great time“
“We ate dinner across the street and realized there were at least four bars / taverns on this one block, so decided to do a bar crawl. We started around the corner and ended up here last. I want to say it was my favorite of the four (dive) bars. Not sure if it was because I was pretty buzzed (yes, we used an Uber) already. Either way they get my 5 stars for the GB area :-) There were the four of us and eight other patrons. Everybody was cool with us, even though we were from out of State. So mush so, that I bought everyone who wanted to indulge a shot (total of 11 of us). How could I say no to that, especially when I was only charged $2 per shot? Unheard of from where I live! The bartender was cool and willing to make us a couple of drinks he was unfamiliar with, one of which was a shot of Crown Apple and about a shot's worth of energy drink mixed. Same price point... WHAAAAAATTT?! I hope the bartender has ownership in the business, as I would hate for them to get yelled at LOL. We had a great time rounding out our night here. Thanks for the hospitality, both the bartender and patrons!“
“Perfection. Simply put, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. My wife and I can be a little picky sometimes, but both of us are extremely happy. We shared the poutine, which was amazing. I had the Beast Burger, which was perfect. She had the Mushroom Risotto with grilled prawns, which was incredible. My wife even called them “the best thing I’ve ever had.” Our server, whose name I am forgetting, was personable, kind, and very helpful. He is the guy with the pony tail who only recently was hired. He convinced us to try the double chocolate cheesecake, which was decadent and amazing. 12/10 Will come again.“
“Be patient. It was around 8:30 on a Tuesday night that I went in. Two of three bartenders looked at me at least three times before putting down their game of dice or whatever they were doing in the corner of the bar and coming over to see if I wanted a drink. One even served two guests next to me then walked past me back to their game of dice. I was thinking it was a restaurant but it is more of a bar with a menu. I asked for a food menu and it was sticky and crusty making me think they aren't all that sanitary. I had to drink a beer out of a plastic cup. I saw others had a glass to drink from. My food came in a styrofoam togo container. I never ordered it to go. I had to ask for a plate and fork so I could eat my food. They gave me a paper plate and I declined the plastic fork. I am looking forward to the 1001 opening up down the street so I have a better option for good food service in the neighborhood.“
“Great pizza.. The bingo is fun and the staff are really nice and friendly.. Only downfalls, are that the ladies restroom and the parking lot, is rather smallParking: Very small lot.. There is barely any room between the street and the parking.. When you go to leave, you're backing out onto the street“
