There’s nothing I love more than finding a new “go to” coffee shop, and I’m really bummed this place just wasn’t it. The website was adorable so that’s what drew me in. The inside has a lot of potential, but it’s lacking something. Just felt kinda sad in there. I got a hot latte and a danish. The drink tasted burnt and there was coffee grounds floating in it. It also wasn’t hot? Which I was confused by. It was lukewarm and that was taking a sip after I just walked out of the shop. The cheese danish was stale and made me question how long it was sitting out so I tossed it. Just overall super disappointed, especially considering how expensive it was.

We thought that the daily buzz was nice. The atmosphere was really good but the coffee left something to be desired. It just seem a little lackluster and just seemed like a standard if I could say gas station type coffee. We didn't eat anything but the food looked amazing. The service was not over energetic and seem to be a little slow and it wasn't very busy.

Nice little corner shop. Just passing through the area. Wish they had a little more food options but it was early on a Sunday morning.

Peaceful, calm, and simply pleasant. A refreshing place simply excelling at being a coffee shop. The location is perfect for a mini escape, right by the river walk for a great way to enjoy a caffè, a walk, and the beauty Wisconsin is capable of producing!

Nice cafe with a cozy ambience. There is a good selection of beverages and service was friendly. Camped out here for an hour catching up on emails and enjoyed a chai latte.

Waited in line for 10 minutes. Only one person working. Understaffed so I left with no coffee.

A nice coffee bar, I had their red eye and it was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and gave great recommendations too

I had been going here for years, but recently stopped. This establishment used to play quiet, mellow music -- the type you'd expect in a coffee house. On my last several visits, the music was no longer mellow and the volume was turned up to an unbearable level. Not sure why this sudden change, but they took an awesome location and ruined it with this assault on customers' ears.

Terrible coffee. Untrained staff. Just embarrassing really. Don't waste your money here.

Coffee is good, but I got a very old tasting overpriced danish. You also can’t get anything but pastries by mid afternoon.

I used to really enjoy this place but I went gluten free for my health and they no longer have any gluten free pastries. They also have had the kitchen closed for a really long time so I can’t even get gluten free through that.

I've become a regular here - good atmosphere for studying/working. Really great variety of drinks- baristas are awesome and have made some custom creations for me! Love the later hours as many local coffee shops close by 2 or 3pm

Please (re)train your staff. I was visiting GB and stopped here twice. The first time, I ordered a matcha latte with vanilla syrup. It was poorly sweetened and not stirred up; lots of matcha clump at the bottom. I make these at home all the time, you can use a small cocktail shaker, add a little liquid (even water works well) then add the scoop of matcha, shake vigorously for a few seconds and bam you've got a perfectly mixed powder that you add to the steamed milk and stir. No clumps, there's no excuse for clumps. The following day, I ordered a "caffe mocha". The barista asks "for that mocha, do you want coffee and chocolate or espresso and chocolate?" I say, "espresso, like a mocha latte" to which she looks at me like I am nuts! So, here goes... if you work at a coffee shop and don't know what either a caffe mocha or mocha latte is, you were not trained. If you own a coffee shop and this is how things run, please stop. Drink was meh.

Super cute coffee shop with great seating, good pastries and chill ambiance. I think they might roast their own beans too. Service is very friendly too. Highly recommend
