Used to be a fun and welcoming place. The new owner is a judgemental and pretentious person with no business sense. After firing the previous staff, he canceled multiple schedules perfomances by local and touring acts. He has said things about women's appearances and how attractive women don't like rock and punk music. He has refused service to people wearing t-shirts with the logo of the previous establishment. He has refused to accept any accountability and has doubled down on his previous actions.Support live music and local business...elsewhere. We all deserve better.

It's not the Lyric Room but it's a place to have a drink or ten during the Broadway Markets....ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO A END!

Sad to see the lyric room/keggers go. The venue held a special place in my heart ❤️ as we got married here in 2022, everyone we worked with to plan our wedding got let go or left because of the new ownership. Which sucks because they were all so AMAZING with our wedding. Also was a frequent to the metal/punk shows that were put on here, that's actually why we chose to get married there. Bitter sweet, I hope the best for the future endeavors but wish it didn't change over night. Best of luck to the new owner but definitely lost the support from a whole community of amazing people who loved the place ?

New bar in downtown Green Bay. The location is awesome for the Wednesday Night Farmers Market and they take advantage of it with Happy Hour specials. Which is awesome for customers! Place plays great music and is nice and cool when you need a break from the summer heat. Multiple TV's to watch the game and a circular bar with lots of seats. They also have outdoor seating in the shade (with its own bar) and and extra indoor room that both have enough room for live bands. Honestly kind of the same set up as the previous business at this location, but the new name and (assumed) new management seems to have new energy.

Highly recommend this spot! The new owners are awesome and have a great vision for the place. Overall a super clean and fresh atmosphere, it was perfect for a date night with my hubby. The drinks were great too! :)

So sad to see a place with so much history and community presence overhauled by a rich kid with no respect for the community and its rich culture. In his bid to attract an urbane crowd, the new owner has alienated the local, national and international artists who called the Lyric Room home in Green Bay and who built a venue that filled every show I've attended.Chasing a demographic that doesn't exist and is comedically informed by street photography of Los Angeles on Instagram, the owner has cancelled existing contracts, smeared the inclusive and diverse local music community and seemingly paid to have a puff piece written about him in the local newspaper in which he hilariously compares his role in this transition to Tupac.Stage 1 isn't the problem. It's a symptom of the problem. If this rebrand didn't mean losing a vivacious venue in Green Bay, whose now fired staff and ostracized promoters made inclusivity and safety for non-men a priority, this would be a brilliant piece of performance art. It is a satire of modern Midwest urban angst and its relationship to wealth inequality. It is not performance, however. Coincidentally, lack of performance will likely be the defining characteristic of the stage. If you were ever a fan of the Lyric Room and/or believe in the real organic culture that Green Bay has grown, stand back from this spoiled little boy's farce and wait for it to return to the community. My hunch is that it won't take long.

This joint is but a shadow of its former self, The Lyric Room.

Used to be a regular at their shows and was a great place to meet up with friends, Unfortunately the new ownership has ruined the culture of the venue that was already in place by barring local punk, grunge and more hardcore bands from performing there in the future - which was the primary draw of the venue beforehand. With little notice, they let their main sound engineer go and severely cut the hours for their event promoter. Don't waste your money here - they clearly don't know how to run a venue and respect the local area's music culture.
