Classic supper club atmosphere with great food and drinks. Love the service and the friendly people. Friday seafood items are excellent. Great service once again.

For what the food is I was surprised at the price tag. Almost 40 tacos for a ribeye steak, that's a bold price point for a ribeye anywhere. Schnitzel was priced pretty hefty too for what it was. I get the need to make money and market "authentic" German food but it seems like cheap food with significant mark ups. Had it not been for a friend wanting to spend his birthday dinner here I wouldn't suggest. Almost 80 tacos for some mediocre food and 2 old fashioned.

Don't let curb appeal fool you, this place trys to assimilate german cuisine and completely lacks authenticity and the assembly is horrendous. Cold food, tasteless, localized chemical filled ingredients and horrible customer service. I mean COME ON, the food you ordered could've been made at home for less than 25% of the price, same ingredients and everything. The bartender simply mean mugged me and inquired why I was there without even a hint of enthusiasm or genuine reception, even teetering on the edge of not even wanting to serve anybody or be there.DO NOT read this and go find out anyways because curiosity killed the customer, just go somewhere else.I'm 40 dollars broker and still hungry.LOOK AT THIS APPETIZER PLATTER

Looking for a good German style meal? Look no further. We're in town to watch the KC Chiefs play against the Packers and we're looking for some German food. We shared a Jager Schnitzel with potato pancake and red cabbage. It was perfect. A bit out of town but worth the drive.

We were invited to join another couple here for dinner. I was kind of excited as I had never been here before, and I enjoy German food. When I got the menu, it was disappointing as there were only 3 German entrees and 2 of those were Wienerschnitzel. There was no Roulade or Sauerbraten and there was no Spaetzle. I asked the waitress if the Schnitzel was homemade, and she told me that "no" it's frozen and they don't make it. I can buy a box of frozen Schnitzel at Aldis, so I opted for the salmon dinner with potato pancakes. The salmon was over seasoned, and the potato pancakes tasted like they were a powdered mix from a box and not fresh. The German potato salad tasted like it was from a can. The waitress never came back to ask how anything tasted. They also charge you 3% to use a credit card. Sorry, Lorelei Inn, but if you're going to advertise yourself as a restaurant serving German food, you should do better than the 3 silly entrees you offer on your menu. The food was simply ok and not a restaurant that I would recommend or come back to.

Visited the Lorelei last night and let's discuss some of the best and worst of this establishment. The best was the dessert, a delicious Bavarian chocolate cherry cake. Very generous slice of cake, purely delicious. I ordered the Weiner Schnitzel with kraut and potato pancakes. Very bland all around! Nothing to come back for here. The kraut had no flavor, dry, no seasonings or juice! What? The potato pancake was thin and Lacey, however, it was greasy. My friend ordered the Rueben. Again the kraut was bland and completely dry. No thousands island dressing, instead, horseradish was served on the side. On the plus side the beer selection is above par! Overall, just a no. Come on!

We visited the Lorelei Inn for their German food. We have tried several other German restaurants and were excited to compare notes. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel and Alpine Schnitzel. We also had Red Cabbage, sauerkraut and German potato salad. The Alpine Schnitzel was covered in gravy and it was a bit too starchy and the flavor is overpowering. On the other hand, the Wiener schnitzel could use a little more flavor. The German potato salad is too sour for our liking. We also ordered sampler appetizer and things are nice there. The bread basket is also pretty good. The restaurant is divided into two sides, one side is Bar and the other is a restaurant. The bar is very popular. Maybe because of that, the restaurant does not have a changing station in the restroom.

Great neighborhood throw back to a time a great German taverns and restaurant. Great atmosphere. Excellent beers and specialty drinks. Food is varied with some German fan favorites. Simply prepared but good. Friendly staff and great bartenders. Some limited stool seats at the bar, but small tables and an auxiliary room can accommodate more people and small gatherings. Parking available.

The food use to bring back memories when we first moved here 20+ years ago. The food was always the best… it seems the last few times it was okay… The soup … come on did they ask a middle schooler to try to make that and chop up some some hot dogs. The Alpine sauce tasted like the gravy powder packets from Walmart, the onions and mushrooms were barely there. Best part was the drinks from the bar and the ladies that were serving that night…. Waitress staff are always sweet to us…. Atmosphere seemed off till the loud rude big table was gone. I really wish their menu was the old one from 20+!years ago when we first moved here.Parking: They have to lots to park in … both small.Wheelchair accessibility: There is none that I could see
