good service but definitely not authentic Mexican if you ask me. nacho appetizer came with roast beef...not impressed. togo order was put on paper plates wrapped in tin foil..opened it and was mess. the basic tacos I got to go are like taco bells basic tacos.

I hadn't been here in a long time. I no longer live in GB. A friend picked this place for our lunch when I was visiting today. It was very busy on a Saturday. We decided to eat in the bar area & avoid the 20 min wait for the dining room. We had to place our order at the bar. Despite being very busy, the bartender was super nice!! The margaritas & food were EXCELLENT. My only complaint was how dark the bar area is. Next time, I'll wait for the dining room. Can't wait to eat my leftovers for dinner!

Service was great! Friendly and prompt. But aside from that I can’t believe I had to pay for this slop they call food. It was awful. The rice was like something out of a frozen TV dinner. With that nasty red sauce they put on it. The chicken was bland and dry. The corn tortillas weren’t at all warmed up. Just slop thrown into a cold crumbling tortilla. The queso was just as bad. It was gritty? That’s a new one. All-in-all we won’t be back. Can make better food from a box at home.

This was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. It was bland, soggy and seemed like frozen, microwaved garbage. On top of that, it cost $40 for 2 of us so it's very overpriced on top of nasty. This place needs to be on Kitchen Nightmares because that was a horrible experience with horrible food in the darkest restaurant I've ever seen. Turn some lights on, cook fresh, not frozen food and use a stove instead of a microwave because that was just awful.

Used to go here for their shredded beef flautas but they seemed to become smaller with a higher price, havent tried much other items as its more on the american-mexican food side..dont know how the queso is so popular its like 90 percent flour and 10 percent cheese ...

Everyone raves about this restaurant and it was so bad. The worst Tex Mex I have ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth. The server and staff were friendly and the margarita was standard, so it’s really down to the food.The tamales tasted bland and rubbery, but the worst offense was the red “enchilada” sauce that was legitimately marinara sauce. I should have saw that coming when I saw Mexican Italian food on the menu…The queso was disgusting and grainy, like they put flour and cornstarch and sand in it and forgot most of the cheese.The shredded chicken didn’t have a hint of seasoning, it was so disappointing. The shredded beef was a bit better, and the taco was edible but bland and 90% shredded iceberg lettuce and shredded cheese. Two of my relatives got guacamole and it was already a gray brown color.The Spanish rice was wet and soggy, almost soupy. My sister said it reminded her of cafeteria food, but worse. The pinto beans were edible, but tasted like baked beans from a can with a slight seasoning difference (but hey, there at least was some seasoning on them).Overall, I couldn’t have been more dumbfounded and sat there in shock. It was so bad that I could barely eat any of it at all and that was with the help of two margs. This was so extremely disappointing. When I was leaving, I did realize that the clientele was all 50-70 year old white people so perhaps that’s where the good reviews come from. I’m sad these people have never had better Mexican or Tex Mex food.

The queso was also a strange texture, like it was blended with flour or corn. It was thick and barely tasted like cheese. This was the strangest meal and I will now have to go pick up other food on the way home.

This is the 2nd and last time I try here. The queso was grainy, my wife's fish tasted like it was old and freezer burnt. My combo plate was disgusting, the beef taco was dry and old, the rest was bland as could be. They have never heard of seasoning. It took our server 3 times to finally bring our lemon for water. The chips are the tasteless cheap kind. Horrible food, service and the price is more than the food was worth.
