I discovered Murphy's about a month ago, though being only 5 minutes away from me I'm not sure why I'd never seen any bar there the 13 years I've lived downwind of it. Regardless, I think this will be my go to hangout spot from now on. Walking in that first time I immediately noticed that the wood bar was gorgeous. Clean, friendly, right sized portions that were tasty. I had the beer cheese burger on a toasted pretzel bun. Busy place staring around 6 pm. Fish frys on both Wednesday and Fridays. Had the feel of an old neighborhood hang out.

A friend introduced me to Murphy's recently, and I love it! Amazing staff, great atmosphere, and it's also family friendly with dining areas. I tried the walleye after hearing about how good the fish was. I think I'm going to have to come here on Wednesdays or Fridays with my daughter. I had told her I'd bring her some back, but only managed to reluctantly save her 1/2 a piece. This morning she burst out "that fish was AMAZING!" It truly was. Great prices too.
