So apparently when someone doesn't close out their tab The Explorium likes to add tips for themselves. I don't know if this is common practice but that's BS.

The service and atmosphere are always nice. Food is fine. We like the ability to reserve an area in the bar for small gatherings

A great spot for a good meal.We arrived right at noon for lunch and the place quickly filled up around us so our server was running his butt off but kept our sodas full and kindly pointed out the basket of napkins already on our table when he was flagged over in request of more napkins because the jalapeno burger was delicious but that beer cheese WAS messy.I love perogies and all things fried but I'm still trying to decide if I liked these deep fried perogies as much as the typical...(Steamed?) Variety but they WERE good. And I got the grilled cheese (called something else I don't remember) less the tomato but added ham. Perfectly toasted melty deliciousness.

Stacy was the best server I’ve had in years!!! She was friendly, accommodating, and fast with all her service! Working in the service industry is not easy by any means and she makes it look like she’s happy to help us. She deserves a raise more than any server I’ve met. Works hard and smiles while doing it, Tippin big money for her!!! I’ll come back as long as I see her smile again!

After going here many times over the years and seeing the reviews I feel the need to write an honest review. The drinks are definitely the high point here, no complaints at all. The food is a little pretentious though considering it's largely prepackaged, frozen, and overpriced. Places like this are renowned for having the classic 3 overpriced tacos with mango pico with prepackaged meat, I know it is prepackaged because we tried subbing and they told us they can't because it is in fact prepackaged meat and fish. I also tried the bacon jam burger this time which the bacon jam was extremely salty, the bleu cheese was a weird choice, and the bison burger had good natural flavor but clearly prepackaged as well. The salmon is also pretty bland for $20 dollars but everyone seems to overcharge for salmon so thats alright. Would recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich though as it is the best thing we've had there. With the food not being freshly made it shouldn't take as long as it does, we always come in around 11am on week days so they are never busy. Also the waitress we seem to always get is good with following up but could at least pretend that she is a tiny bit happy to be there.

Stopped in tonight for some food and good beer, had to have the special which they pair with one of their beers. The Bruschetta Shrimp Linguine had a delicious aroma when it arrived at the table one bite and I knew it was an excellent choice!! The paired beer compliments this dish so well because Crocus Lager is easy tasting selection!! My tummy is pleasantly happy tongiht, service was great food was timely and perfect temp...give them a try you won't be disappointed!!Vegetarian options: Many delicious options!!Dietary restrictions: Ask the server they will help with any need you have!

I came out tonight to hang out with the family and grab some beer; it has been far too long since I've had some excellent concoctions from The Explorium Brewpub. On tap for tonight's samplings: * BA Chocolate Chili Stout * Milwaukee County Stout - Oat Whiskey 2023 * BA Chocolate Orange The chili stout gets you in the throat with just the right amount of heat, but oh so smooth. The oat Whiskey was delicious: smooth, silky We had some excellent meals tonight. Salmon, Bahn Mi, THE BEAST. Everyone had to have the clam chowder as well because it's the best anywhere. I don't know how it's got a right to be as good as it is, but man, it is delicious. Just the right amount of noise in here tonight. I like that there was a great buzz but you didn't have to shout. Plenty of stories to be told, things to catch up on. Getting together with family at the Explorium Brewpub was the right choice.
