Great place to take your kids or just go for a walk. Not small yet, not exactly big. Trails are very visible and we'll maintained.

So beautiful and peaceful

Attended a wedding. The facility was nice, but the staff was not well organized. The venue was not set up when the guests arrived and the entire pace of the event was slow due to the staff not responding appropriately.

It's like a treasure theme park all in one. The best place to relax and unwind while taking in nature's beauty.

Very unprofessional. My family and I signed a rental contract for their garden house and no one showed up to open for us. We waited for two hours and then our guests started to arrive, and there we all were waiting outside the facility. The phone number on the contract would go to voicemail because their office was closed. I attempted to contact someone via email which I got an automated reply for that they were on retirement. I also sent a message via Facebook and no one ever answered. We had to search for another venue at last minute. I definitely do not recommend booking your event here.

Despite having the Chinese light show display installed, I clearly noticed that the park has shrunk over the years and is poorly maintained now. Yes, it's fall, but it was apparent that the walkway maintenance hasn't been done for a long while with weeds creeping into the walkways and the crush stone walks wearing very thin. Fall removal of several plants had been completed, but my guess is that they are understaffed as when we arrived they told us that a park of the park, the children's area, was closed (though it was posted open for another hour). I remember the glory days when everyone had their wedding photography done there in the 1970's. The new pavillion is impressive, but the park doesn't command such a beautiful facility. Truly mismatched. I hope that Boerner Botanical Gardens can find the help to bring it back to its potential and grander size!

This was my third or fourth time going to see China Lights. All the exhibits were new this year and I was blown away by how beautiful they were and how much more was there to enjoy. The animation and lighting was so detailed and there were so many more interactive things for the children to do. I was especially fascinated by the Rock Man who looked like a big boulder and unfolded into a huge transformer who talked and moved. One of the most beautiful moments for me was looking over the area where the path zigzagged back and forth and saw all these delicate lights waving back and forth in the breeze like a fairyland.

Way way too crowded had to wait in long lines for everything even the lights. Hot drinks sold at one maybe 2 vendors in the whole place and it's pricey about 7$ a hot tea. Tea was good though. Fried oreos were DIVINE! really enjoyed the lights exhibits. Magical forest and nature and animals. I would go bak but I wuld sneak in my own hot drink. It was worth the price for the attraction.

We enjoy China Lights. 2022 was beautiful and so colorful, but this year, it was not quite as much. The displays are beautiful and colorful, that is true, but we noted the change this year. We were not quite as awed, but we did enjoy starting our tour in the daylight and ending it after dark. The 8:00 PM show was also less spectacular than last year. We will return again next year however, it is very much worth the time spent!

We went for China Lights and had an amazing time! The lights were beautiful and so fun to look at. The flowers and plants just added to the beauty of the experience. There was plenty to see and even seating when we wanted to relax for a while and eat. The kids had so much fun that I had to convince them to keep moving so we could see it all. I would definitely recommend for families!

I recently attended the China Lights Festival and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing and beautiful experience! The intricate light displays created a mesmerizing atmosphere. The performance show was captivating. While the food offerings were satisfactory, they didn't quite reach the same level of excellence as the festival's spectacular ambiance. Nevertheless, the enchanting atmosphere more than compensated for the average food experience. At one point, I felt like I was in a scene from a Hallmark movie. The China Lights Festival is not only a fantastic family outing but also a perfect choice for a cute date night. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a magical night filled with breathtaking lights and performances. It's a must-visit event that will leave you in awe!

This is an amazing park on its own and offers great variety of plants and flowers and playing facilities for kids, however we visited during late August and preparations are on for the light show that starts late September/early October and therefore huge structures of Disney and other characters and of various animals are being erected to dazzle kids even more.We had a season's pass therefore, we didn't pay anything.
