Special place. Excellent food. Wish it was closer to our home but still worth the 40-minute drive.

Very delicious food. My wife said that was the best chicken that she has ever had. That says a lot. She makes the best chicken, so for her to say that.....wow! We will definitely be going back in the future.

Wonderful place. Staff is always nice and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. I ordered the Australian wagyu filet and it was cooked exactly how I asked and is probably the best steak I've had. Fries that came with it are also really good. Great, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommendParking: Street parking can be full around rush hour, but the lot behind is usually available

Finally made it out to Palmer's, after living in Hartland for almost 18 years lol. Boy, have I been missing out! First, I thought their pricing was very reasonable for being a steakhouse. The brandy old fashioned was only $7 and the blueberry mule was $9. Then all our meals came with soup/salad and a side potato. That's unheard of if you were in Milwaukee. Normally everything is al a carte so this was a great surprise. I got the ribs and they literally fell off the bone. Not to mention the delicious barbecue sauce with them I tried David's filet and it was soo flavorful and had an awesome char. Even the salad in the beginning was great. It was super fresh and just overall a great meal! We will definitely be back.

The food was good, but service was disappointing. The servers made pretty significant errors that I wouldn't expect at a steakhouse.I ordered french onion soup that never came, but was added to our tab. I ordered a bone in ribeye with no toppings and an a la carte order of truffle fries, but was given a steak covered in truffle butter and no fries. When I told the server the mistake, she apologized saying she entered my order wrong and would bring me fries, but never offered to correct the steak and did not remove the $6 upcharge for the butter from my bill.In the end, my bill included a $9 soup I never received, a $6 upcharge for butter on my steak that I didn't order, and the $6 fries that were forgotten and delayed. After once again raising the mistakes to the server she took off the incorrect items. Maybe it was an off night, maybe it was the fact that we had two servers, but the experience made for a rough first impression..

We celebrated (late) my husband's birthday last night and our meal was spectacular! We sat on the heated outdoor terrace and had a view of the river, which was very peaceful and cozy. Mikayla, our waitress, was super sweet, knowledgeable and attentive. We both ordered the Big Filet with Oscar topping and a loaded baked potato. I added the Bernaise sauce. Steaks were PERFECT. Oscar topping made it super rich and even though it was yummy and was glad I tried it, I would pass on it the next time only because it was not needed and made it a little too rich for me. Bernaise was excellent with both my steak and baked potato! We forgot to order the Brussel sprouts but the delicious salads with parmesan peppercorn dressing were completely satisfying. We ordered Creme Brûlée and it was good, not superb but I don't think it takes away from me scoring this 5 stars. They also gave my husband a square of chocolate cake with a fireworks candle on it! Noteworthy: My doggie bag of leftover steak was accidentally thrown and our waitress had an entire filet with Oscar made for us to go! Class act! We both commented at the end of our meal that this is our new favorite steakhouse. We used to go to 5 O'Clock for many years and this experience was better by far.

Thank you for an incredible evening. We have been coming to Palmer's for decades and have always enjoyed the Michelin star service and entrees. So many family memories have been made here. This evening, Bonnie's service on the patio was phenomenal. Thank you Bonnie and your team. We'll see you next week!

Went here for an impromptu retirement dinner for a colleague. We experienced amazing service! The food was absolutely incredible (get the acorn squash if it's in season!). They also had a nice selection of appetizers, drinks and mocktails.

Was there for drinks with friends. Bar area was very attractive, Bridget was an accomodating bar tender and pleasant to talk to. I ordered a Tito's martini and was charged $12.25 plus a 61 cent fee for using my credit card. I feel the credit card fee is an expense of doing business and should not be passed on to the patron. I was a Realtor for many years and spent $1000s on marketing, a costly expense of Realtors everywhere. At closing, I don't give my clients a bill for my marketing costs. Why should I pay for your credit card fees? Bartolottas is probably the premier restaurant in Southeastern Wisconsin. It is by far my favored eatery. They charge $10 for a martini with no credit card bank fee added on. My party and I will never return and will tell others of our experience.

Very good wine. Loved the oysters. I was a little let down by the steak. It was under seasoned.

First time here. Waited at the bar until our table was ready, and the bartenders did not disappoint. Our cocktails were amazing. The food was expensive but oh, so worth it. Great for a special occasion.

Neil was a great waiter! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent! Definitely will be going back in the future.Dietary restrictions: We have a mushroom allergy and I am also gluten free but we had no problem with the waiter making sure we were taken care of properly.
