This is definitely a hometown bar. Wood accents and taxidermy everywhere, which I wasn't mad about. The food and service was good overall. The only downside would be that the brisket was a little dry, but that comes down to preference (I personally love sauce). I'd definitely visit again. Their menu has a large variety of options that sound delicious!

Went in and sat at a booth. 5 minutes go by. No one at the bar says anything like- hey if ya want to order come over to the bar. So we left.

I hadn't visited in years and I'm so glad I did today. Had their chicken fried steak special that was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Food was hot and fresh and tasty. Bar was clean and updated with several tv screens for sports watching.

It's was fair. I feel that the food could have been hotter for sure. The French fries are really really good. Service was a bit slower but I think they weren't expecting to be so busy. Props to the waitress running the whole floor great job!!

Popped in for a quick lunch while Christmas shopping. Had the clam chowder, others had the grilled cheese with bacon, cesear salad with chicken and a Chicago dog. Very good, great service and a relaxing atmosphere in the dining room (the old bowling alley).

This is one of the few good restaurants within Hayward. The food was as expected and tasty. Our waitress was subpar, not paying much attention to us. We had to ask several times for water and drinks. The atmosphere was off-putting, I don't know if it was because I was a person of color or as an out of towner, or both. Nevertheless if you are looking for a quick bite this is the place.
