Owner should mind his own business and not take videos of his customers and who they are with and sending them off to other people. It was none of his business... glad they closed! Very unprofessional and sad to say Jesse WAS a friend of mine. I was 1 year into my divorce. I had a right to move on in my life and enjoy my time out with friends. In a bar/restaurant business you respect your paying customers... you don't take video and sent it off to someone's ex husband!

After reading several reviews, we decided to give Frankies Pizza a try. We were not disappointed! Great thin crust pizza! The server was very friendly and attentive. We will be back when in the area for sure and recommend to friends!

Delicious Pizza and Great service. We ordered the Hawaiian Pizza and it was fantastic! We heard they had to close for awhile due to lack of help, so we were very happy they were open again. We stop to eat every time we are in Hayward.Be patient and kind to the servers they work hard!

We stopped in for a late supper on our way home. The pizza was delicious, the Alfredo was good too. Bloody Mary was very delicious. And the bartender was great, loved that she wore gloves when touching any food. We will be back when in the area again.

I tried to eat here twice. Every indication is that they are open. Called and recording indicates they are open. Signs on the door indicated that they were open. Sign inside the door also indicated they were open but the doors are locked. Visited on July 5 and there was a sign indicating closed on that date. Returned on the 6th and still closed Nothing to indicate they were closed on the 6th. Do they really have business hours or do they open on a whim? They’ve wasted enough of my time.

Stopped at Frankie's on our way through town last week. Only a few others in the place but it was Sunday afternoon.Pizza was very good and service was attentive. However, I noticed some discrepancies in our bill.They charged us for a call drink when we never asked for anything but rail. Our friends asked to sub black olives for green and were charged extra for the black olives. They also asked for tomatoes which they knew was an upcharge but there were no tomatoes on the pizza.All of these small up-charges added a couple dollars to the bill. I paid for my friends so I didn't want to make a big deal about it.Instead, I emailed Frankie's after we got home with details including the check number. That was more than a week ago and I have yet to hear back from them in any way... even an apology. Fairly poor customer service follow up in my opinion.Luckily, we don't pass through Hayward that often. If you go, enjoy the pizza but watch your bill.

Because of the great reviews, we checked out Frankies. Delicious pizza. Fast service. Cozy interior.We’ve eaten here a few times now. Like many of the locals, it’s our go-to for pizza when we are in Hayward.Thanks for the great pizza.

The pizza was very similar to a number of different neighborhood places in Chicago. It’s classic square cut, a bit of acid in a rich tomato flavored sauce. Well done and actually well priced. So, thumbs up there!Now, I’m not a fan of scathing reviews, but I can’t resist due to the level of disappointment. When you order wings in a restaurant there will be a variety of options and quality. Yet, the value is usually on par from place to place. Frankie’s, however really let us down. A FULL ORDER of wings included only 6 (six) wings at $16.00. Sure I could have asked how many wings come in a full or half order, but for $16.00, did I say $16.00?, you’d think a buck a wing would be fair. I feel cheated.While I’m disappointed, I’m not totally dissatisfied. Everything was tasty. I’ll order pizza again. But until the wings are priced better, pandemic or not, I’ll stick with the pie.
Pizza was excellent! Justine is a great server ! I would hire her. The place was crazy busy with call-in orders.

Been coming up to the Hayward area for 35 years but this was a first for Frankie's. We enjoyed the pizzas very much. Pizzas ordered were a Buffalo, pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives and green peppers, and a CDI - double crust, double cheese and pepperoni, sausage and Canadian bacon. We also ordered a pizza burger. Was good. Buffalo chicken wings were okay. Overall, good experience. Will definitely return for pizza.

This is a neat place. It is on the outskirts of Hayward. As such it's a little less crowded and hectic. As everywhere is it was short staffed but the staff was very effective and hard-working. Pizza was excellent. Drink menu was fairly thorough and high-quality. Appetizer menu was restricted due to supply problems. Appetizers were less than great which is the only reason for four stars rather than five stars
