I thoroughly enjoyed this Pete Dye-designed course. The front nine is links/prairie style and the back nine is nestled in the rolling forests of the Northwoods. The back nine had a ton of elevation changes including a multi-tier fairway on one of the holes of the back nine. The forest makes it difficult to keep the fairways in absolutely pristine condition on a few of the holes and some of the bunkers could use a little love but overall I found the course to be in good condition....read full review
Great layout and very challenging. Links front and woods layout in back is very cool and unique. They have new owners this spring which is welcome since previous owners didn't keep it up. Bunkers are getting overgrown with grass and weeds but expect new owners will address this as staffing and budget increases. Rest of course is very good and greens are rolling nicely. The manager Indy is great. Played it 3 days in a row this week and loved it!

They have exceptional pizza. Crust is crusty on outside and soft on inside. I always get sausage and pepperoni . Best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my lifetime.
