I ordered the 16oz Bone-in New York Strip with shrimp and loaded baked potato. The entree itself was delicious and put me into a meat coma afterwards, but it was definitely worth it. The service and atmosphere were great! (Shout-out to my service Michael!) The only thing I would change would be the relish tray and fish cakes. While both were good, they were a bit lacking. The fish cakes were more of a hearty starter instead of a typically more delicate crab cake, this was most likely due to the wild rice base. They definitely needed the accompanying dill sauce. Overall though, a very nice meal that was worth the price.

It's amazed me the difference in everything in just 2 months. The steaks had more fat than meat. The service was okay but could have been more tentive considering they weren't busy. We ordered drinks to start they sat made at the bar for about 10 minutes we had to ask for them.

We had scheduled reservations for 7 pm on a Friday evening and arrived at 6:50, we were seated promptly, however greeted rather rudely. There were at least 4 open tables, probably more when we arrived. From there we waited 15 minutes to place a drink and appetizer order. Drinks then took another 10 minutes to get to us, so right around 25 minutes to get drinks. I ordered the NY strip medium rare, it was very, very rare. My wife and daughter ordered a filet, medium, these “steaks” were all fat and gristle . My son ordered a cheese burger, that was burnt. My wife, daughter and I each ordered a loaded baked potato. The loaded baked potatoes came out to us with what appeared to be a melted square slice of cheese on it. I’ve seen other reviews that mentioned they felt unwelcome as they were out of towners. I whole heartedly agree with this assessment. We watched as a waitress laughed, joked, and smiled with other guests, but as soon as she made eye contact with our table, the smile quickly disappeared and changed to scowl. The Ranch misses the mark as a restaurant and even more so misses the mark of a Wisconsin Supper Club. With a total bill, including a tip of around $275, we left hungry and unsatisfied. The waitress was new & got our food order mixed up, so some didn't get the food they ordered. She was very sweet & apologetic though.

Food and service were great! Throwback feel to the place of another simpler time! Love the background music! Great wine!

Very unfriendly service. Pretty much doing us a favor is how we felt. Just so so food. Almost cold baked potato. Creme Brule was burnt beyond eating on the top. Relish tray was not anything enough for 4 people.Pretty disappointed.

We were greeted with rudeness. They were clearly busy however it seems to be a place out of towners aren't welcomed. The bar tenders had excellent conversation with others yet greeted us with a "I could careless" attitude. The ribeye was overdone and bland. The tenderloin was tough and had grizzle.

Classic supper club atmosphere & fare. From the relish tray to dessert, the food is good and the service excellent. Highlights were the herring in the relish tray, clam chowder, the half & half (broiled & deep fried) cod, the Brandy Alexander, and 8 layer chocolate cake.

The food was exceptional. They were running with two servers and we heard that multiple times from staff. The lighting was a little dim and made it difficult for my wife to read her menu without assistance from me.

The food was average. Small baked potatoes, very plain salad, relish tray very average, roll not fresh and worst of all prime rib sent back twice as it was cold. The waitress was very kind and helpful though.Parking: Lot was not well lit when leaving after dark and certainly not enough spaces available.

Took my sons bachelor party here for a nice dinner. Wasn't disappointed! From the time we walked in until we walked out was a top notch experience. We were greeted by the bartender and served cocktails at the bar upon arrival and seated shortly thereafter. Relish tray was exceptional. Three of us ordered the Walleye and got the biggest fillets we've ever seen. The others got steak and we're pleased as well. You could tell a majority of the patrons there were local repeat customers. That's always a good sign. Definitely a repeat restaurant next time I'm up North from Chicago. Great job Ranch!!

We arrived without reservations, informed of an hour to hour and half wait. No problem...sat at the bar and enjoyed several cocktails. Bartender/owner (her name escapes me) was busy, but still found times to engage in conversation. Good drinks at fair prices. Dinner was a pair of steaks, both done to perfection, with no complaints on any portion of the meal, salads, or even the relish tray! Again, pricing was more than fair. Staffing levels seemed adequate, and the help genuinely seemed to care about their appearance and the job they were doing.
