“Colleen was a great server. We felt the ease of accommodation at some of our requests. The food choices here keep you wanting to come back and try other things. And they also have some considerably healthy options as well. I left full but not feeling fully "greased" out by an overuse of oils and fats.“

“This place is off the beaten path…located in a residential area, so easy parking. We sat outside. There is a lot of outdoor seating. We did not go inside. I had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich with a side salad. I thought the food was good, but slightly overpriced.“

It's a friendly, family-owned establishment that has a great beer selection, pull tabs, a very nice patio with live music and some really great food to boot. To boot. “GREAT FOOD!! If you like lean and meaty brisket, this is some of the best…made for super tasty flavorful sliders. The steak bites were tender and juicy, and the fries were seasoned just right. “Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with my sister. She's not a huge burger person and she's been telling me how much she loves their burger here. I knew I had to try it. We started with spicy Bloody Mary.... Meal of champions. It was excellent. I ordered the cheeseburger and let me tell you, my sister wasn't kidding.... It was juicy, hot, and delicious. Fries were nice and hot. Next time, I'll ask for extra pickles. Small little dive bar. Lots of locals. Staff were very nice and friendly. You order your food at the window and it comes out quickly. There's a liquor store attached to the bar... that's pretty neat. I also stopped in here before a wedding in February for a few drinks before heading to the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center. Another good experience. If you're in the area or if you're in the mood for bar food, I highly suggest giving it a try. Prices are great too! WIN WIN in my book.“

“Had the prime rib, seasoned perfectly and it was huge, close to 2 pounds easily. Ended up taking half of it home, cut that in half and cooked it up in the morning with eggs for the wife and I and took the remainder for lunch at work. Was it worth it, oh yeah!We will definitely be going back soon. Next will be a Friday night to check out the fish fry. If it is half as good as the prime rib it's gonna be great.Parking: The lot right in front of jonesys was really packed but their is a second lot right across the street with plenty of spaces.“

Love the tap selection, Minnesota Dry Rub wings, Turkey Burger (or that you can create whatever kind of burger you like), friendly staff, and fun atmosphere. This is a great spot to go for a night with your friends, family, or date - it really has something for everyone.“

“Here for the first time we walked in and it was very quiet but as we sat it started to pick up but the very nice young bartender greeted us when we walked in and asked us for drinks, she checked on us often, and the pizza was delicious!“

“I mean the atmosphere and ambience of this place is why you come! God I love a bar/restaurant with carpet on the walls and potentially on the ceiling.This is a German bar serving American food but mannnnn their burger with kraut slapped. They also have Hefeweißen on tap which is sort of unheard of at bars in Minnesota. Staff was so friendly too! This is a place to stop in for a beer or 2 or 3 and stay for some yummy apps.Loved it and will be back again!“

“It’s not a landmark but it’s somewhat of an establishment for Hudson, WI. If it’s busy it’s really busy and that’s not very busy in the summer. In the winter and spring there are days that’s full. Workers are nice. Patrons I would say mixed. Some nice so not so nice. The food can be decent based on who’s cooking on the back. Overall it’s worth visiting and getting a drink.“

“Have the bull bite appetizer it was amazing. I had the Prime rib med rare. It was Perfectly cooked. The green beans were yummy. My husband had the 5 piece fish fry. He said it was very good. It was busy. We made reservations. Celebrated a friend's birthday thier chocolate cake came with sparklers and a cow bell. Fun and delicious. So good!“

“Stopped in here for something to drink and to hang out for a bit as we were riding our bikes. Great vibe, they had volley ball outside and a DJ inside. This is a fun spot to hang out and have a good time with friends or family. Thanks again for the great experience.“

“Formerly Uncle Mike's, if you are unsure of the name change and location.My review is after eating there 3 times, once for steak night and twice for their fish.The food is the only reason I would return. The Fried fish which I chose over the broiled was done perfectly on both occasions. The sides of Coleslaw have always been warm and not flavorful, while the choice of tater tots always is done perfectly to my taste, Lightly crunchy.The seating and service are less than desirable, as on the last 2 occasions. The first one we were seated 20 minutes , while watching tables fill around us, and orders taken without anyone coming to our table. I made mentioned to a bus girl cleaning the table next to us, and she got the manager, who apologized for the over site. The restaurant was not overly busy at that time.We decided to give Friday night fish a second try, as the fish was done so well, and we always give things a second try. We didn't fair much better on the try. They were busy and a wait for tables, as the hostess told us on arrival , which we stated we were willing to wait for and would just stand there in queue for or table. No name taken from us or table pager given to us, or even mention a need for either from them . We stood there for 30 min waiting and watching tables empty, noticing staff chatting and taking turns hosting, I then mentioned as they were going to seat someone else, that we had been waiting. That prompted a ...your not on the list response from them. I explained that I was not asked for a name, and we were a mear 4ft from the hostess potum for the past 30 min. I will spare you the remaining poor service that ensued .Do I think the food is... Good...YES.and I will give it another Friday night try in the future and let you know how it goes.“

“I came here with my baby and dog for a quiet afternoon meal while on a road trip. The service was friendly and welcoming. I love that they are dog (and baby) friendly!! (There were 2 other dogs there during our visit, and even another baby.) The view of the St Croix River is beautiful, and the food was tasty. I really enjoyed the cranberry brie turkey sandwich.Kid-friendliness: I brought my baby and the server was very patient with us.“

“My favorite place to be on a summer evening in MN. Located on the St. Croix river in Stillwater close to the old lift bridge. Come early and enjoy a stroll along the river and relax in Pappies open air bar and resaurant. The food is good. The restaurants looks over the river and the boat docks. Service is sometimes frantic due to the large cowds. The music sets a tone that just takes you away. The patrons are loyal and love Pappies.“
