Feels like youre eating at a family members house when you go. For the atmosphere, Log Cabin Inn is spot on! Cute little family style restaurant and bar. Been here twice now. The staff has been SUPER friendly. If they are busy, they apologize for the wait and still check in and let you know that they will be with you shortly. But even when busy, havent had to wait long AT ALL. For the portions, the price is on point. (Considering how ridiculous it is fast food now costs as much as a sit down restaurant) and the food is really good! They serve breakfast all day, which my kids love! And they have soooo many great sounding options on their menu, sometimes I find it hard to decide but that, and the great staff is what will keep us wanting to go back and try even more on the menu! Definitely stop in! It's worth itKid-friendliness: My kids do not order off of a children's menu, so I can't speak to the kid menu portions but the waitress was super friendly to them, patient with them while they ordered for themselves and then complimented their manners

This place is a gem on the earth. The food is delicious. Every time we go we get something different and it doesn't disappoint. The atmosphere is like a rustic nostalgia full of vintage treasures. The Staff is quick and always has a smile.

I come from MKE and was looking for some decent food in the area. Instead, I found a gem. Great north woods feel bar and grill in Howards Grove. Fantastic walleye fish fry! Big menu too.Bring cash, else a 3% charge for credit card.Also, their website is down, but go! It's good.

We ate here for supper. I had shrimp stir fry which was excellent. There was just enough sauce that you could taste the crispy veggies and shrimp. The chicken Alfredo was very tasty too. The owner did a nice job asking how things were. Wait staff was very friendly too. We will be back.
