I’ve always had good experiences here whether I’m eating in or getting it to go. Food is always wonderful — flavorful, fresh, tasty. Staff are always friendly. I fully recommend this restaurant. The carnitas street tacos are my favorite but the steak casa burrito is a close second.Parking: Parking lot shared among the tenants of the building. Always plenty of free spots and limited street parking (not sure if the street parking is technically legal but I’ve seen people doing it). Curbside/pick up spots right out front <10 steps from the door.

I very rarely write a bad review. Check my profile. But this place should not be calling themselves authentic at all. I am not Mexican but I was married to one for 8 years and when I tell you they would be embarrassed for their heritage if they tried this food.The pics look decent but 100% the worst Mexican food I have ever tried. I’ve never seen an authentic Mexican restaurant put shredded cheddar cheese on their rice, and the rice was so flavorless they might as well just called it white rice. The birria tacos tasted like they came from Taco Bell and the salsa was the most Americanized salsa I’ve ever tasted. Even the broth for the birria tacos tasted like a Taco Bell taco. Not worth the money at all. Oh and they charged me .75 cents for take out. Not sure if that’s a Wisconsin thing, but I have never had that happen before.

I have tried the fajitas at all the Mexican and Mexican adjacent restaurants in Hudson and Stillwater. Los Habaneros has the best without question, not even close.

Food was flavorless and bland. Tried mixing the watery sauce that came with the entree into the rice to get some flavor, didn’t help. Aside from the food the staff were friendly and the restaurant has nice decor.

The price of this food is outrageously high. For three tacos, no sides it's $12-14 and these are taco bell size tacos, literally nothing special. I ordered pickup and an item was missing, they refused to refund me at first but they did refund me later. I can't believe I spent $70 on a couple tacos and a quesadilla. You don't even get sides unless you pay more. Won't be coming back here until they get real with these prices. Delulu.

Great place! The Birra was amazing. The margaritas were really good and I loved that they were on the rocks and not blended. The salsa had a great spice and the chips came out warm. I will definitely be going back.

Ate with 5 people here and we all agreed, not authentic Mexican food. No flavor any of our food, they use very Americanized products and no flavor specifically in the salsa, the tortillas are so plain and the rice was barley red. Would not recommend.

This was the worst Mexican food I've ever had and if you look at all my reviews I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants. Don't eat here. There is absolutely no flavor the salsa is disgusting! The cheese sauce was just like this watered-down milk stuff like I said don't eat here go up the street there's a way better Mexican restaurant! Gross gross gross

My family stopped here on our way to Minneapolis from the Milwaukee area. We were all disappointed in the food. The complimentary salsa was clearly a canned/jarred salsa, with the color and consistency of ketchup, having no flavor or spiciness. The rest of the food was very bland.The service was okay. The server was friendly enough, but the hostess did not acknowledge, speak, or crack a smile once, even though she seated us, brought the salsa and later the guacamole we ordered.The atmosphere is fun and unique, especially considering that's it's located in a strip mall. I think atmosphere is the best feature of this restaurant.
