“We did not even entertain if they had food. We were just so excited to finally stop in for a drink! It's the type of place you drive by and go hmmm?! Well, I'm certainly glad we stopped because we had excellent service with Amanda as our bartender! The atmosphere is fun and super laid back. We will definitely return. “First time here yesterday 4/27/24! There was a small wait, but the wait was so worth the food! Had the bang bang shrimp and cheese curds for an appetizer and the crab rangoon flatbread for the main course! Leftovers were brought home! Great staff, awesome environment and great food! “Food was great! Came for tochi night. One complaint is service— stood in the entry way and at the bar for 15 minutes before anyone spoke to us. Looked at us multiple times but nothing said. No one told us to seat ourselves. Overall poor service, would’ve been nice to have been acknowledged or checked in on during the meal.“

“I stopped here and I did a U turn to go back to check them out because I'm not in the area that often and I felt like I would be missing something. The place very old looking on the inside with a small bar and gambling machines. The bartender was nice and talkative with the customers all 3 of us. The front sign is a leftover of a time past and they don't have food but they have frozen Brew Pub pizza. The walls and fixtures look old and I was told that it's been a Bar since 1901. They have a cool back lit bar on the wall and a super old looking door with a crest on it. The two regulars were friendly and talked to me. They also have a small patio by the front door for nice days.“

“We stopped here after visiting Holy Hill. the food and service was great. we have some picky eaters and they loved the food. The fish fry and brisket were excellent. We will definitely stop here again.“

“Been wanting to stop here for a while now, and glad that we finally did. This place has the coziest atmosphere, GREAT drink specials and awesome service from Kate! We got to experience open mike night and it was a blast! We will definitely be back and I highly this place to anyone.“

“Great list of signature drinks. Bartender was the bar manager (Dave). He was polite and patient. He answered all our questions and made delicious drinks. They have 4 beers on tap as well as a great selection of whiskey and bourbon. The decor is subtle with the drinks being the star of the day. Daily specials board available. Food truck available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. While I'm not a smoker, you can purchase single cigarettes here if you run out. They have Hamm's on tap and a plinko game for prizes.“

“Stopped in there randomly on a motorcycle ride with my girlfriend…was absolutely blown away. Was expecting a little classic WI dive with some snacks to rest the legs for a minute and we were absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Some of the best smoked chicken I’ve ever had. Owners were amazing people. Do not miss this place. Will be back for food.“

“I’ve never written a review before but this place made me want to. When my partner and I first moved to west bend we got take out from dooleys and I’ll be honest it was the best. Tonight we tried it in person and the food was phenomenal!! Rose was our waitress and she was very attentive and so kind. Great music and just all around a lovely place. “It's such a cute little place! Kate runs both Orenda Outdoors and Kate's Place, all in one building. Orenda Outdoors is the place to check out if you love being outdoors, going kayaking, and more. They have rentals and do kayaking tours. Kate knows when the water is in good condition for it and will make sure you have a wonderful experience! Kate's Place is the place to go if you want a chill moment to have a drink and relax. I highly recommend this amazing spot!“

“Tuesday's and Friday's they're open to the public and it's totally worth going. The drinks and beer are dirt cheap and there's free fresh popcorn to munch on. The regulars are friendly and will likely strike up a conversation with you; many of which are retirees or folks from surrounding local businesses.“

“Stopped in after dinner out ,my wife and i haven't been out alot this winter .i noticed a pleasant fragrance inside and open seating available. We had a father and young daughter shift down for us to sit at the rail they were obviously on a father daughter date and i was impressed by the dads constant attention to keep things open to conversation, We had alot of meeting of distant acquaintances with much laughter and light conversations about life .(nice)“

“This is a small town local bar with a good jukebox and fun folks. No frills. Drinks are reasonably priced. Annie is in her 70s and has owned the place for many decades. She'll occasionally offer a fish fry on Fridays and Rueben sandwiches around St. Patricks Day. Daytime during the week (aside from Friday) is quiet and peaceful. The atmosphere ramps up around 3pmish - jukebox playing and a lot of conversation.“

“Neighborhood bar with reasonably priced drinks. Across from Regner Park. Darts, pooltable, and video games, free popcorn. The oly bar I've seen that offers an indoor smoking lounge in a separate room with a closed door. However, the smell is noticeable. Friendly bartender and patrons.“

“Plenty of space, no waiting, cozy atmosphere in the bar area although my husband and I sat in the larger hall area. Very pleasant waitress, Tabatha who was very friendly and welcoming. I had the breakfast burger and my husband had the fish fry. Great tasting and will be back again!“
