What a great atmosphere! Mandy was super attentive and extremely nice to our family. The cross promotion of Grays Brewery beer and root beer is a nice touch. The curds, fish fry and shrimp were delicious. Thank you for a great experience!

Great experience :) Friendly staff that seemed to be working really well together and attentive to customers- one person went as far as walking someone who was dealing with an injury to a barstool and getting them settled personally. Food was delicious, tap beer was offered in different sizes. My chili cheese dog was amazing, I could taste that it was flame grilled with fresh chili.

I am so bummed. Rough day, really looking forward to a great burger. I wanted to treat myself. Looked up the best burger in Janesville and decided on Barkley’s. I ordered it for takeout and didn’t check before I left. Got home, so excited! The rye bread on my patty melt was burnt, quite burnt. So much so I ate the food without it. I did not want to drive across town to take it back. There were two other customers there, so not too busy to forget the food on the grill. Really bummed. A lot of money for a halfway edible burger ?

Went for Valentines dinner, and the food was fantastic! We got a table right away, as well as a drink, waited for 30 min for anyone to check on us or take our order. After asking another server to take our order, the service was great. Suggestion is to plan to add more staff for a special occasion night. Otherwise the atmosphere, prices, and food was fantastic! Would highly recommend!

We love this place! Come here every Thursday for trivia night and it never disappoints. The cheese curds really are the best in town.
Happened in on Christmas Eve to have a burger and were greeted with very friendly hosts. Will definitely return in the future. Very tasty cheese burger too.

I eat out frequently. That was the worst meal I have ever been served. Prime Rib was refrigerator cold, not like a steak that has been sitting off the grill too long, but ice refrigerator cold.Disgusting. Sad because the waitress did a great job, but inexcusable that someone took pre-cooked prime rib from a fridge and didn’t heat it before serving.
