I stopped by here for the first time today. My chicken salad croissant and chicken dumpling soup were both delicious. I'll definitely return for a quick healthy lunch.

We frequent The Bodacious Brew for the tea when we are in Janesville. The tea has never disappointed.
The food however, needs some serious work. They have extremely limited vegan options. They have one "entree" item (the vegan wrap) and almost always have a few pre packaged grab-and-go vegan cookies. That's about it.
We have had the vegan wrap a few times now and it's nothing special. There is nothing about it that would make me excited to order it again.
They also have a very confusing rewards program. We signed up when we first started going there, and none of the employees can seem to explain to us how it works. We have asked a few people and we can't really get a straight answer. We recently made it to 200points and received 2 free drinks. It is a nice perk to have, I wish we knew how it worked.
This place has so much potential to be a really great spot if they'd consider doing some work to their menu.

Love So Chopped, great salads. Price is average. You order your type of lettuce and fixin's. So good. The problem is the hours that they are open, they close at 3pm, and as of late if they are open at all due to staffing. Went the other day and sign on door stated they were closed due to no staff, but to go next door and grab a premade salad from the coffee shop. I went to grab a couple and there was literally one sitting there, not sure for how long. So I left empty handed. Also parking is a bear.

This place is amazing and prefect for something healthy that tastes good. The lady working was very friendly and helpful. Love that they chop the salad up before serving it! I will definitely be back!

I literally wrote a five star review last week for So Chopped. I've been visiting for years and have absolutely loved their food. I've ate their twice and ordered delivery through Eat Street three additional times since my last review and I'm appalled at how horrible all five meals have been. The quality of their ingredients have decreased tremendously. I had lunch there on Monday and it was obvious that the ingredients were leftover from Saturday. The lettuce was brown! They also reduced the size of the dressing cups by half. It is not nearly enough dressing for the portion of salad. Both times that I ordered mushrooms, they were slimy. The steak was completely inedible. During one visit, as I was checking out, a server behind the bar picked up the dish of tomatoes, shook it around and said, "Those don't look fresh." She shrugged and put them back! I'm so upset. This was such a good place to eat before. One bad visit, I understand. But this is five times of VERY bad meals.
Stopped here today and had a “build your own salad”! Everything was delicious! The 2 gals working were super friendly! They chop the salad for you before they put it in a serving bowl.

Disappointed. Should specify on the menu what is served hot. Ordered a Sante Fe wrap which had avocado and hummus and it was served hot. Kinda weird. Wouldn’t have ordered if I would have known that. Wraps are typically cold. This is more of a burrito.
