“Me and my girl went into town and we were looking for somewhere to get a drink. I saw just one neon sign looked in the window and saw there was a bar with nobody. The night turned out to be a really good time the bartender was the best the was good music drinks flowing and the inviroment was turned up. This was one of the best nights I had I a long time. I will be back thank you Denise for the hospitality.“

“We stopped after a Christmas shopping excursion after hrs on a Sunday all of the other restaurants in Jefferson said they are open but were closed. We walked in asked if the kitchen was open and yes we were in like flint. They had a few nice selections on tap and had a Breckenridge vanilla porter delicious. Ordered chicken hot w slaw very good., and the better half had a chick n swiss, mushroom. Very pleasantly surprised. Very low key and nice. Hint get the tray to eat off of it hooks on the bar if you don't sit in the table area.“

Not only was Kyle awesome, recommended things from his own perspective of having the burgers to what other customers like , not only were the cheese curds phenomenal! But the burgers! The kids Mac! I mean atmosphere! You got frickin 47 items on tap!! And great selection too! Atmosphere is a 10, service IMPECCABLE!!! Food! Def coming back for that Mac and cheese burger have tried at so many places but this one hit the jackpot! Check out those pics! Came in around open (11am) ! “Came in here a handful of times, had a great time each visit. I love Mel, one of the bartenders here, she's hilarious and makes for a great conversation. A lot of the customers are very friendly. As a person who had a lot of family members in Vietnam and great grandparents in WWll, it's great to see all the war items on the walls and shelves. The bartenders and cooks are attentive and very friendly, the atmosphere is great. I've been in here when it's been slow as well and it's still nice. The plug-ins at the bar is always nice as well to charge your phone!“

“We came into Fort Atkinson for a wedding, I came in from Washington and my aunt from Florida. We were looking for something close and good. We were not disappointed!!! “Amazing service. Absolutely loved the BBQ pulled pork, and the sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had, hands down. Amazing burgers and fish. Everyone loved their food. We all thought the prices were reasonable, especially for the portions and how excellent the food was during our lunch. We will definitely be back.“

“Very cool place. Open and well taken care of. Nice big bar area. Lots of table seating as well. The bar tender, Bobbi was great. She was very kind and happy to be there. The burger was very good, A bit heavy on seasoning for me. But it was a good burger. Cold beer and great people all around. “My grandpa Lyle Kanter would come here after collecting and crushing beer bottles in a small room behind the church. He invented a bottle smasher. He would have a beer and a shot of whiskey. I would have a soda and cashews. Early 90’s. He passed in 1995 at age 79.“

“I had the Bessie burger with Brussel sprouts, hubby had shrimp po boy.. everything was top notch. That was the best burger I've had in a long time. Sprouts cooked to perfection. Po boy was so good. So much on the menu it was hard to decide and took a crayfish boil to go for dinner later. So glad we took a Sunday drive off the highway. It was so worth it“

“This is long over due. Our father/father-in-laws favorite thing to do on Friday’s was go to a fish fry. It was difficult for him to walk and the manager and waitress saw this and came to the door to help us get him inside. They seated us immediately and said when we get ready to leave they would let us out the side door where we were parked. Dad had his normal 3 old fashions. He loved fish fry’s but never had fish as he loved shrimp. It wasn’t on the menu for that particular evening but they made him his shrimp. All our food was spectacular. When we got ready to leave they took the screen door off the side door to let us out. We all think you were angels sent to help Dad on his very last fish fry. His health declined and passed away shortly after that. Thank you for making him feel so special on what would be his last time going out to eat. You are all angels in our book and very grateful.
