This is a response to Gary Buchinger’s review,As a witness to this scenario, Gary arrived around 7pm as me and my wife were already there probably 15 minutes before he and his wife arrived. They sat down around 15 minutes before us while me and my wife were having a couple of drinks. Not sure why he was upset about waiting to be seated for so long when they were occupied with people finishing their dinner and leaving and clearing tables for more people and preparing for the next round of guests. They sat near me and my wife so we saw and heard everything. Their food came and he (Gary B.) complained that the steak was wrong and the waitress brought it back and got what he (Gary B.) wanted. She set the steak in front of him, not his wife. After eating over three quarters of their meal, the wife must have complained that she must have ordered fries and not rice. So he (Gary B.) complained to another waitress that his wife ordered fries and NOT rice. I heard him. So when the waitress picked up the rice to take back to the kitchen and get fries, he (Gary B.) got up and grabbed the waitress. He then told her that he also wanted to keep the rice to eat as well and I watched him eat it. UNREAL. Well that sounds like someone who is just looking for a free meal. Then Gary (the “Cook”) came out to talk to him (Gary B.) to see what was going on. In the meantime I could see the waitresses seemed extremely frustrated and stressed, as was I. When me and my wife got up I walked over to him (Gary B.) and I told him “why don’t you take your business elsewhere.” I also told him he was being a jack wagon. He told me to take it outside. Funny man!!! I went and paid my bill, then I left after apologizing to the “cook” Gary about how I shouldn’t have said something, but I have to admit that it was very hard to witness him taking advantage of the restaurant and talking down on the owner and his hard working establishment. If you read this Gary Buchinger, get a life! The “cook” doesn’t need people like you at the Prime Steer, and I’m pretty sure Gary the cook is doing just fine in this business and he has done well in the past. I have been going there since 1999 and I have enjoyed it as I have seen firsthand amongst many others. Also, the reason why people may want out of the business is because of people like you.God Bless, Gary Thiel.Parking: Plenty of parking due to the fact that Gary Buchinger won’t be allowed back.

Went there for the first time last Saturday. The food was very good. I had the seafood platter and it had the best perch Ive had in a long time. My next visit I will be ordering the perch!

After a few drinks the waitress cane to take our order. We were offered soup, salad and fresh bread. I had the prime rib and it melted in my mouth. My husband ordered deep fried scallops. They were lightly breaded and fried to perfection! Everything was amazing. We did wait awhile but they were busy. We can't wait to go back! Everything was fantastic!

From the drinks to the food and the service everything was amazing. We were offered soup, salad and homemade bread. My husband had Gary’s Porterhouse and I had perch/tenderloin combo. Both were delicious. We did have to wait for a bit. That was expected as it was a busy Saturday night. Looking forward to another great dining experience soon.

First time visit was last evening. Giving an “10” overall. Bartender and wait staff were extremely friendly and respectful (including new trainee). Food quality and portions were at highest level. One of the best ribeyes I have ever had, cooked to perfection! Meal also included soup and salad brought to the table, choice of potato or vegetable, and homemade bread - all delicious. Also tried the onion rings and shrimp cocktail - again both large portions and very tasty. Overall, wonderful food and affordable prices compared to other supper clubs in the area, will definitely be back soon. A must try if you have not been!

We arrived around 7pm of course signed in at reservation desk, we were told it would be a few minutes to dine as dining room only had a half dozen tables that were dining and bar was about half full. At 7:45pm we asked if we could order soon they told us they were really busy after earlier telling us it would be a few minutes. Ok, so we did actually order our food my wife ordered steak and haddock she asked for an upcharge on steak she likes ribeye. She likes rice so she had that as side. Well they brought out tenderloin and the wild rice was so dried out it was actually hard like a stone. I asked owner to try rice he said he would not eat rice. (If you won’t eat it sir don’t serve it) I will say they did replace rice with french frys and replaced steak with the correct ordered ribeye. The server did apologize for her oversight.I ordered seafood platter it was very good. I did have to remind server twice if she could bring my potato. On our way out cook told me never to come back, of course I asked why not we have been going there for years. Through multiple ownership. He was so angry I agreed that I would never go back there. It’s ok any cook that treats customers the way he does doesn’t deserve to have my hard earned money. We were finally able to leave around 9:30pm.We just wanted to have a quick dinner.Hope he does well this time around. He hasn’t done so good in past. Always a reason why people want out of this business. So now he got business back after failure.Good luck cook.Parking: Plenty of parking being there were not many people dining

LOVE the Steer! Prices are great! Food is always cooked to perfection. Great supper club vibes and old fashioned of course. Fresh baked bread is always warm and soft. Personally, I'm a fish gal but the steaks always look delicious. Be sure to come in early on weekends because it's always packed.

Food was ok, told would be a 20 minute wait and waited an hour and a half. (They forgot us) Waitress didn't bring soup, didn't have enough water glasses and silverware for party.
