Nice place, great view, great food. I ordered the Red Rueben, which was delicious, with a generous helping of corned beef. I also ordered loaded french fries(bacon and cheese) - the cheese was cheese sauce - not a fan. This is Wisconsin, use real cheese!! Nice selection of beer and Irish based food. Great atmosphere, definitely get the Irish pub experience, complete with Irish music being played in the background.

Went for Friday Fish Fry and some drinks... Food was better than other restaurants as far as fish fries go. We were seated quickly, which was nice, but our server seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. He wasn't rude or anything, just seemed detached. He was attentive but not personable if that makes sense. The drinks were good, but stick to classics instead of house specialties, which could use some fine tuning. The atmosphere is pleasant with simple decor and a cozy wood-burning stove that greets you as you enter the dining room. All in all a good experience and we'll be back.

We went for dinner with some friends last night. My wife likes the restaurant as it is quieter and less crowded. At 5:30pm it was at best 1/2 full and quiet. The servers were nice and food came quickly. Our fiends enjoyed their dishes and the cheese curd appetizer was good, but not great. (The batter could have had a bit more seasoning.) Where they really fell down was on the burger. My wife and I both ordered the special burger of the month, the bison burger with a berry BBQ sauce and goat cheese. We both asked for our burgers to be medium rare. Neither of the burgers was medium rare and they were more mell done. Needless to say, they were not juicy at all. The meat was not seasoned at all and relatively tasteless. I assume they meant to make up some of the flavor with the berry BBQ sauce, which they did to a small point. I believe the sauce had been reheated so many times, it was very thick and didn't impart moister or much flavor. The goat cheese should have added some richness, but it too was tired and dry. If you go to Ashling, stick to the Irish beer and an Irish stew or shepard's or cottage pie.

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner here and the food was delicious! The drinks were fabulous and there are plenty of local beers and specialty drinks.

Great food and service (thank you, thank you, thank you Damon)! Root veggie soup unbelievable! We asked for ingredients to try to make ourselves. Really enjoyed the beer battered mushrooms on happy hour menu. The cottage pie was yummy, especially mashed potatoes. Good walleye too. And get the cherry Magners too if they have it. All yummy, in a lovely atmosphere.

Unfortunately can't give more stars, for place where they can't even make right, grilled cheese sandwich. After sending back the first sandwich, got second one - this time with WHOLE two pieces of cheese. My friend ordered sweet beets salad, and was a joke as well! Decided not to eat dry bread and went for brunch somewhere else.

Food is delicious and wonderful menu. Pot pie could have more sauce in it but it's full of carrots potatoes and chicken. Reuben sandwich was mouthwatering! Fish was over fried but moist inside. The soup was tasty and filing. Lovely ambiance. Our server was very friendly just excellent.

I have never left unhappy. The food is quite good, even if a but expensive. The atmosphere is fun, and its a good quiet place to eat in the off hours. The fish and chips are one of the best in the are, paired with a Guinness its a great treat!

Long time patrons. Disappointed at new portion sizes and quality of food. When we discussed with the manager we would rather pay more for original quality, we were followed outside and told our future business was “respectfully declined”. Total disappointment. Sad day.

We have come here for years. Server was great. Portion sizes and quality have changed. When expressing we would gladly pay more for the original quality we were confronted outside by the manager “respectfully declining” our future business. We will no longer visit this establishment. Such a shame.

Wonderful nook. Great Irish comfort food. The pot roast melted in my mouth. That gravy was divine, hint of sweet to all the savory. Artichoke Dip was wonderful as well. Came at 7:30pm on Saturday. Was able to sit in the bar no problem, but tables were available in the dining area as well. Great friendly staff. Guinness and half and halfs. Perfect compliment to the savory.

One of the best modern Irish restaurant/pubs I've ever been to. The food is absolutely superb. Highly recommend the Black Guinness, Curry fries and the Shepard's Pie (finally a REAL Shepard's Pie).

About this average of an Irish bar as one will come across where the only good thing about this bar and a fun fact is it is the closest bar in Kenosha to lake Michigan this place does not have much parking and many people likely do not even know this place exists
