Was impressed. Went for a wedding which was obviously decorated to couples tastes, but would love to go back and explore as I love old historical homes and this one is beautiful

Doesn't even deserve the one star but I had to leave it to post. I request and was scheduled for an event at the Women's Club of Kenosha. The guy was supposed to email me the contract and menu. I followed up with him, David, and he booked another event on that date!!! I told him he never sent me the email to even get started and he claims he "believes" he did!!! I searched my email for his name and the the facility and found NOTHING!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! They will NEVER get any business or referrals EVER from me. Not cool at all!

This historic building is tastefully decorated and a perfect place for your next event. Exceptional Events is the name of the business that does the planning, catering, decorating and clean up. They really do fantastic job!

in booking through the Women's Club, you will likely do a great deal of your business with a gentleman named David. He provides in house catering, and a seamless list of possible decorating options. My husband and I worked with David for about one year to coordinate one of the most magical days of my life. I can be difficult to work with and I had very high expectations for the way I wanted things to be done. David worked with a very patient man named Mark to develop the centerpieces of my dreams! We went back and forth multiple times, and even if I lost my patience, they both worked tirelessly to insure they were exactly what I was looking for. Chair covers, chair ties, table clothes and napkins were all provided in house as well and of all the times we went back and forth trying to coordinate, David was very accommodating. The menu selections we opted for received great feedback, as did the late night breakfast buffet reception we held. We didn't want to send our guests away hungry and the waffles were a HIT! They even brought in a special beer for my husband that he had requested. The staff was friendly and genuinely seemed to be enjoying the night. I had many doubts upon booking David in the beginning, I was very worried about the final outcome given some of the reviews here. But honest to goodness, I don't think my wedding could have been any more perfect in comparison to what I had envisioned.
