This place has a bit of a stepping back in time feel to it, which is cool. The upstairs ballroom looks like something out of the 1960's. Four of us had a great meal on a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meal. One person ordered the ribeye steak special. It was huge and well prepared. The rest of us each ordered something different and were pleased with what we received. We all took home enough leftovers for a full second meal. Their lasagna is some of the best that I have ever had and will definitely order it when we visit again.

The Italian American society is always a great choice for an evening out with friends. Ten of us sat down and were comfortable at a table, and this was during Lent on a Friday with fish frys all around town. The Friday special had huge filets of fish, and the ambiance is always nice.

What a great place go to. We try to visit the Italian American Center as often as our budget allows. We love the food, the ambiance and the service. Most of all, we love the bartender, Caleb. He truly makes the restaurant great! He has a wonderful personality, is funny and quite knowledgable about drinks. He made me a special drink for my birthday too! Never let this guy go.
