Why's it so loud before 9 pm?! I could barely hear the person I went with.I do enjoy that nothing has changed since the first time I went in almost two decades ago - it is very nostalgic and not pretentious.

Usually the fried cod is cooked perfectly but last night it was rubbery, some of it was hard and dry. We were so disappointed. Every single piece was the same. I don't know what happened! Was there a different cook on Friday night?!

Went for Saturday nite Bingo, which is always fun...had a bowl of the chicken pot pie soup...good flavor but no chicken (1 small piece).

Nice bartenders. Watched the cook cut the chicken and put it on the tortilla with his bare hands. I stopped him immediately and said I’m sorry but I won’t eat that because you’re not wearing gloves. He said he washed his hands, I kindly told him I still wouldn’t want to eat it, he was visually upset and I was still kind and told him no thank you. The bartender came over and said we don’t wear gloves here unless it’s raw meat. I let her know that I still didn’t want the food. I was nice about the entire thing but still felt like offended someone. The thought of having bare hands touch my chicken lettuce and tomatoes doesn’t sit right with me. Don’t think I’ll be back.
