Do NOT underestimate the beauty and power of small businesses. This small vineyard located here in Brown County, WI boasts some firsts in producing unique wines that are affordable and delicious. The owners, seemed to have had lots of very fortuitous lessons along the way to success at this small vineyard in Brown County, WI. When you visit, you will take a walking tour through the grapevines to learn about their humble beginnings. The vineyard is beautiful and peaceful. You'll sip generous samples of selections as you learn about the grape varieties and the wine process itself. Nothing, here, is a coincidence so don't be afraid to ask about the beautiful roses growing at the end of each row! The answer will surprise you! Try not to drift off into your Zen space as you walk amongst the grapes! It'll be hard because it's very peaceful out there (or maybe the wine samples were catching up to me)! LOL When the tour ends, you'll have an opportunity to purchase some of the sampled wines. They're very reasonably priced and there are deals offered. They also have a few charcuterie type products available too if you need a little something to nosh at this point. We went on a bus so we didn't have to drive and everyone could enjoy the samples. It was a fun day! A cool autumn day -- the kind you see in movies about people loving wine in Italy! This is better because it's right here in Wisconsin and accessible without an airplane to us "Cheese heads"!So gather a group of your adult friends, find a responsible mode of transportation and head on out to Parallel 44 Winery and Vineyards. If it's a cool autumn day, wear a cable knit sweater and live your favorite Italian movie scenes in a beautiful relaxing environment. You'll love the owners and the staff are friendly. The property is charming and clean. The pours were generous and the purchases were oh so affordably inviting so take your credit/debit cards! Cash works too!If you drive, there's plenty of parking but please be responsible. There are lots of highways to traverse out there. Have fun and be safe!

These people have truly great wine made from grapes grown only in Wisconsin! Some are rather singular and some are more complex. All are delicious and their generous tastings make it so easy to be sure of what you are buying. It is clear that they are really dedicated to creating an audience for grapes that can be grown right here in our beautiful state.
Nice winery with a nice outdoor space. Tastings cost $10 for four two oz. Pours. We also had a cheese plate that was nice. Friendly staff as well.
