I ordered the Caprese Pinsa. Service was friendly, food came quickly. We weren't immediately driven out of the restaurant after we had finished our meal - as is often the case in the USA - but were able to stay seated for a while. Ambience was fine. Could have been a little brighter and a little quieter. But overall pleasant. But now to the most important thing - the food. The dough was typically American: soft and sweet, not crispy and bready like in Italy. The topping consisted of tomatoes and mozzarella. You can't go wrong there. But there could have been more tomatoes. Unfortunately, balsamic vinegar was completely overdone. The food was a sticky mess that only tasted like vinegar. 3 stars because it was still edible. But it wasn't particularly tasty.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian pizza and also a Pinsa Caprese with tomatoes and mozzarella.

Food was ok. The website says the pizza crust is hand tossed but really they used frozen pizza crust which you easily tell. Cheese curds were previously frozen. The garlic cheese bread wasn't the best. It was a baguette with cheese and garlic on it. People were nice when we went the vibe was cool too. I just wish the food was better and that it was representative of what they sponsored on their website..

A little too noisy for pizza place and the service is a little slow. But the food is great and worth the wait. The pizza was great and well made. The chicken sandwich was really nice too.

We were told to order from Big Al’s by a local bartender in LaCrosse. We ordered delivery while staying in town and it was really a big let down. We ordered two pizzas and an order of boneless wings. The boneless wings were not good at all. They reminded us of over cooked chicken nuggets. They didn’t come with the sauces on them, they served them as a dipping sauce. It was very odd to me that they even call these boneless wings. Meat was quite chewy. The two pizzas we ordered were off their specialty menu. For being near $30 a pizza these were not great pizzas, I was expecting to be wowed for that price. They were overcooked and just lacked flavor. One was supposed to be on the spicer side and didn’t really have much flavor at all. Basically we only ate about half of each pizza. We ordered delivery so no comments on the restaurant atmosphere. Delivery took about an hour on a Saturday evening, which was expected. But based on food alone, I would definitely not return for that kind of money.

Let me start by saying i LOVE big Al's and was craving it. So I ordered a take out order 2 pizzas and they were over cooked and hard to eat there was not enough cheese on my cheese pizza and due to being over cooked it was very difficult to bite through and chew.I will absolutely return to Big Al's, however I just wanted to make sure that they are aware so they can fix it.I hate leaving bad reviews and I would have preferred to email big Al's about the issue but could not find an email address there is only a phone number and chances of the message getting to the right person when making a call are slim in most cases.
