I had the cowboy burger with sweet potato fries. Burger and fries were very good. They went a little light on the fries.

There is a great selection of beers and ciders. The food is the basic favorites which is a bit pricey. We got the wings and salad, nothing special.

Went to Buzzard Billy's on Thursday night for a 1st date. I have been going there as the only place I eat downtown La Crosse for years. This visit I tried a dish that consists of a chicken breast with a creamy brown Cajun shrimp sauce with rice. Fulfilling, flavorful but not overpowering. It was a perfect dish of something creamy and Fulfilling without being over powering. The restaurant was on a 45 minute wait so I would recommend calling to reserve a table. My entrée was $18 and filled me up perfectly with extra sauce and rice left over. All of the tables were full but our food arrived within 20 minutes.Definitely recommend!

First time customer to the restaurant on 3-30-2024 and it was busy and a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. The only way i can describe the food is heaven on earth. The service is awesome and the atmosphere is awesome also and I’ll definitely recommend the restaurant and be a return customer. I drive an hour from Rochester, MN just to eat there.Parking: I parked in the ramp just on the other side of the block. It’s less then a 5 minute walk but there is on street parking.

My alligator over rice was very good, however my wife's chicken sandwich was so so, not much flavor. Cool place and worth a stop.

Been returning for a few years now for the wings and boneless wings. Today we tried the fish which was fantastic. The breading was really crispy and the tartar sauce was house made and so fresh. Service can be a little slow though like every restaurant these days they seem understaffed. Definitely recommend. Also good selection of tasty local beers.
