The menu on website is waaaay off. Lunch consists of lame sandwiches, and the dessert case was almost empty. My daughter in law did have the pork soup, and that was quite tasty, but, the sandwiches are very disappointing.

Great lunch place hidden inside shrine of lady Guadalupe. You will not see signs until at the front door. Menu is limited but Soups are homemade and delicious. Grounds are stunning.

An adorable cafe. Delicious and reasonably priced food and very friendly service. Thank you for being so welcoming to our family!

We decided to try out this rest located at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe church. Pretty drive into the church area up in the bluffs of Lacrosse. Beautiful church on the bill. Simple menu- you look at menu on the board and then seat yourself. The volunteer server takes your order and serves you just like a waiter would. The scones were really good! Brought a couple home with us- wish we would have bought a few more. The squash carrot soup was tasty as well. Two of us ordered the ham quiche and one ordered the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and salad. It was all good. I’m sure the views here in the summer are just beautiful. So peaceful & serene. Thanks!

Beautiful atmosphere with delicious and fairly priced food! I’d expected more of cafeteria style and quality. Boy was I wrong! I ate here twice during my weeklong visit, because I was so impressed. The food was quality and thoughtfully prepared. The service was cheerful and polite. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

Good food and beautiful location. Prices are always reasonable. Last time we went the menu was very limited which was somewhat disappointing. Otherwise it’s a pleasant spot for a meal and they sometimes have yummy treats in the case!

Excellent food, lovely setting

The Sunday Brunch offers breakfast items such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. A little salad bar and for lunch there's available roasted pork and chicken. Both are great options to have with steamed veggies or smashed potatoes. Nice comfort food.

We have eaten at the Culina Mariana Cafe four times recently, once for lunch and three times for Sunday brunch. Service was always very good, prompt and friendly and the food is fresh, scrumptious and locally sourced. Never when we visited was the restaurant packed or the service slow. This is our go-to restaurant for Sunday Brunch! The shrine is fantastic and their restaurant lives up to their reputation for wonderful food in beautiful surroundings that is a great value.

Coming down off the paved path from the amazing Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on a sunny cool April day, I could not have imagined my day getting any better...but it did. I saw they had a Café and felt they deserved a bit of my patronage. Admit it, most cafe's located within religious settings are like have tea and cookies with your Great Grandma in her breakfast nook. Culina Mariana Café is NOT your Great Grandma's dusty nook. While yes, the Shrine's Welcome Center has a distinctive Spanish flavor to it, the Culina Mariana Café is pure Southern Germany. Think the Konditorei of Munich and Bad Reichenhall. The menu is small but traditional, the prices are fair, the service relaxed. It's a pilgrimage site people, slow down! My Swiss Cheese Sandwich on Dark German Rye came with chips, grapes and a pickle. My Arnold Palmer was always full. In and out for less than $10. Jesus and the Apostles should have had such a nice last supper. When the attentive German woman running the Café stopped by to chat with me, I almost felt like I was back in Bayern. You needn't be either Catholic or any religion to come out and enjoy the peaceful ambiance....but as long as you're here, you might as well stretch your legs and go for a walk up the hill too. Just Sayin'. The whole place is amazing.

Get the brunch buffet any Sunday and you won't regret it. They make excellent omelettes with fresh veggies and whatever kind of meat you'd like to order right in front of you at the buffet line. Very friendly staff and workplace. Highly recommend!
