“Had a business presentation here, nice meeting area, the rest of the restaurant looked very elegant and a definite date night vibe. The food was incredible, salad, main dish (steak, salmon, smashed potatoes), and a to die for key lime pie. We had about 20 people and the 3 servers were on top of everything, super pleasant to boot.“

“Java Vino was hoppin today. Despite being so busy the service was stellar and the food was epic. I got the curried chicken salad sandwich today and it was out of this world. I highly recommend Java Vino. Even if they quote a wait time, it’s worth the wait.“

“We were just there on October 9th 2023. Our waitress Bayleigh was amazing! She was friendly and very welcoming. We had planned to visit another restaurant also but decided to just stay there. The drinks were top notch and the food was picture worthy and very tasty. Bayleigh knew the menu and was able to help us make the best choices.“

“We decided to try out this rest located at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe church. Pretty drive into the church area up in the bluffs of Lacrosse. Beautiful church on the bill. Simple menu- you look at menu on the board and then seat yourself. The volunteer server takes your order and serves you just like a waiter would. The scones were really good! Brought a couple home with us- wish we would have bought a few more. The squash carrot soup was tasty as well. Two of us ordered the ham quiche and one ordered the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and salad. It was all good. I’m sure the views here in the summer are just beautiful. So peaceful & serene. Thanks!“

“Enjoyed our visit to Meringue Bakery this morning! The treats we bought were delicious and we even got a few moments meeting Jen, who is as wonderful in person as she seemed while we were watching her compete on The Food Network competitions. In fact while she was chatting with us, she offered us an amazing free sample of a new entremet she was working on in the back. If you are looking for an amazing treat for a special occasion or even just for yourself, I recommend a stop at Meringue Bakery!“

“This place is incredible. At only 13 dollars a seat, it's well worth the price even if you only get one bowl--as long as you have to know what goes into making good Asian food.Hint--it's not the szechuan, chili, or soy sauce that make up the body of your flavor. It's the various types of garlic, ginger, and sesame oil that give Asian food its deep, complex flavor--and you don't need much. (That's why the sesame oil ladle is small. Probably diluted with vegetable oil too--that stuff is like whiskey when it's straight.)I thought the cheesecake rangoon would be a silly gimmick dish, but it actually has a really balanced flavor. They clearly took into account how much more cloying it would be when warm and toned it down.“

“Wow, what a neat place. Had a party of 15 between two tables. Accomodations were great and the food was equally great in quantity and taste. During the two hours we were there the place was crowded...which must mean many others enjoy the experience.“
