We love this place. We come to Gunderson regularly and never miss a chance to eat here. The staff is always super friendly and service is really fast. They don't take reservations so sometimes there is a wait, but it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend.

Stopped here tonight for dinner with my wife and all I can say is WOW!!! Best prime rib I ever had. My wife had the seafood platter and was also very happy with it. Our server Paula was absolutely amazing!! If we make a stop back on that side of LaCrosse, we will definitely return!!

We've been here a few times, and our server has been Paula( sorry if I spelled it wrong). SHE IS AMAZING!!!!! I absolutely love her. I have worked in the restaurant industry for a few years, and my husband has run restaurant kitchens for years . We have to say she is one of the best severs we have ever met! She is one of the most enthusiastic, sweetest, and warm hearted ladies we've ever encountered. Very punctual and attenitve!!!! The food every time has been amazing...so filling that we usually take some home. I absolutely love the French onion soup, one of the best I've found in this town. The lasagna tastes like a beautiful home cooked meal. If you're looking for a great dinner and service, this is one of my tops for lacrosse!!!....only thing I didn't like was the used canned jalapeños wished they were fresh

A very good place for breakfast. Small, always a wait 15-20 minutes. The food is good. I liked the American fries. Interesting old pictures and signs everywhere. Easy parking. Give it a try.

Ordered carry-out Friday fish meals paid extra for chili because it was a a substitute. Got home found one chili. Unfortunately this has become a regular occurrence having to drive back for missing food. ?
