Arrived at 8:45 am on a Thursday having prepped for visit by printing out the breakfast menu found on website (open at 8:30). It was Bagel day but I am a quiche lover so I was waiting for the inspiration at the counter decision. Initial impression is a lovely space that is open, bright, and charming. Enjoyed roaming the selections which were various in the bakery case of cakes, cookies, and candy treats. Made my decisions and was looking for the breakfast items….. could not see menu for items. Asked about the quiche and was told they had no options for the day. I asked for warm breakfast option (thinking bagel or the egg soufflé croissant) and was told only able to warm up one for the pastries (Nutella croissant or morning roll). Got the morning roll (delicious), brownie cookie(amazing), coconut macaroon (decadent), lemon shortbread (meh), variety pack of macarons (decent), and a coffee (decent). The young lady at counter was nice but clearly was not feeling well. This happens to us all and the morning seemed to have overwhelmed her. She forgot to originally give me the pack of macarons, after I questioned how light the box was and being told it was all inside. Thankfully I opted to eat at table and opened the box. It was a simple mistake. I will go back and hope for savory options. I was disappointed as I planned to buy bagels for office but there were none available.

The morning buns are to die for! The gf brownie cookie, the gf coconut macaroons, the cobblestone cookies, and quiche are all amazing! Yes, it is a little expensive, but it is so worth it. I have never been disappointed with any items from Meringue Bakery. The owner, Jen, is such a sweetheart too!

Service is a 10/10. The ordering process is very easy and efficient...fits my lifestyle. Jen is great/easy to work with. Her staff have always been so kind to us. This review only references cake because I have never tried any other offerings.My partner and I have ordered 4 cakes over the past several years and the flavors seem to be off in comparison to the 1st one we ordered. Considerably off. The 1st cake was phenomenal, we drove 2 hours round trip and it was so worth it.More recently the icing tastes exclusively like whipping cream and is more of a texture than a flavor. The cake itself is beautifully decorated and always moist, but again it's just not flavorful. I was worried it was me, but my dinner guests were also underwhelmed.

We purchased a cake from Meringue for our wedding on July 29th, 2023. The cake was so beautiful! We ordered a small cake- 6 in bottom and 4 in top. Jen was great to work with- she was attentive to the small details of our order and made sure we were satisfied with all the decisions. The delivery process went smoothly. It was nice not having to designate someone to pick up the cake. Sadly, our guests ate all of our cake before we could have a piece but the little bit we had during cake cutting was so yummy! We highly recommend Meringue for wedding cakes (and other treats as well).

I went there with an open mind due to some of the negative reviews. I was greeted upon entry and the person behind the counter was friendly, pleasant and helpful with her recommendations. The chocolate chunk cookie, shortbread and cupcake were all delicious. The real star was the chocolate croissant-definitely on par with some of the best patisseries in Paris. Cold brew was good, too. Overall great experience.

I'm so glade we picked Meringue Bakery & Cafe for our wedding cake and cupcakes. we spent a couple months searching and searching. We wanted something different we ended up coming across this place and ended up ordering a cake sampler which had didn't flavors we never heard of. We tried them and instantly fell in love with 3 different flavors!! We set up a meeting with Jen she explained everything and we went over all our options she was able to do the 3 flavors for our cupcakes an 2 different ones for our cake. Not once did we hear that any of it was bad we had a bunch of compliants and the cake was gone bye the end of the night along with the cupcakes. We enjoyed it all an so did everyone else I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone. They also rent cake and cupcake stands

I highly recommend Meringue Bakery for your wedding cake needs! Meringue made our rehearsal dinner cake, our wedding cake, and cupcakes. The display they put together at the wedding reception was beautiful and the cakes were delicious!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Meringue Bakery created the most delicious wedding cake we could have ever hoped for - as tasty as it was beautiful! Not only that, they were able to accommodate several allergies to create this masterpiece vegan and gluten free! We had more people than we could count come up to us to tell us how incredible this cake tasted. Thank you, Meringue, for making our special day even sweeter ;) And a special shout out to Tracy for delivering the cake, safe and sound. You went above and beyond by decorating the cake with fresh flowers we supplied despite this not being something you anticipated. We appreciate you more than words can express!

We stopped in here based on the reviews . . . and we are SO glad we did. Yes, things are pricey --- if you want to stuff down a few donuts, the supermarket is a better idea. But if you want to slowly nibble your way through a carrotcake cupcake that will transport you into divine bliss, or close your eyes as you savor each bite of a chocolate chip cookie with banana frosting (I know -- it sounded weird but it was crazy good), then this is your place. Btw, we love bakeries but are SUPER picky -- we're on a quest for the best in the area, and this is currently on the top of our list.Our family of four was also treated so well by the woman behind the counter -- so friendly, and even left us with a little surprise =) Definitely returning!

We paid $130 for 2 dozen cookies with a beach theme and they were dry and looked extremely rushed, even though the designs weren’t that elaborate (palm trees looked like green flowers with a stem). I tried reaching out via email and never got a response, which is what prompted this google review. I’m pretty disappointed as I have enjoyed this bakery in the past.

Bravo! This is one of the best little bakeries you’ll ever encounter on planet earth! Be prepared to spend some money. Well worth every penny. This is a top-notch bakery with renowned chefs. You would be hard-pressed to find anything this nice in the best cities in the world! We ordered the carrot cake for my father’s 80th birthday and it was so special and perfect! They made a special brown butter Swiss meringue buttercream that was absolutely to die for. Thank you again for your passion and making everybody else’s life a little bit better!
