Bowling is fun, food is good, drinks are fine, but when I went to get a drink the bartender said “my ID felt weird”, and “she reserves the right to deny anyone” so she wouldn’t serve me. I had just purchased my ID last summer and I’m going to be 22 within a couple months. Everything else was great, but that was a buzzkill for my night.

What happened to this classic bowling alley? Customer service sucked. The mumbling clerk needs to trim his walrus-stache, step from behind the wall, and speak clearly and respectfully to potential customers. He finally offered a good price but put me on a crowded lane while there were plenty of lanes avasacked. Maybe there's new management since my last visit, but I was disappointed. I stood at the bar for a few minutes and got no response. I just walked out.After a remodel, the vintage feel is gone and replaced with the typical modern, visually offensive ChuckECheese vibes. All this, and it's still the best bowling choice in the region. Sad.

I like the management I have met. But I don't care for some of the employees. Of perhaps they don't care for me.Either way. If you are a employee in a customer service position, you treat all customers with respect, and a smile. You cannot like some customers, and not others.There a couple of employees on staff I have never seen smile. Just have a sort of stoic expression on their face.Customers can feel it, if you wish they would simply go away.

Great Price for bowling around La Crosse, the staff was great especially the bartender Marissa, I didn’t really know what I wanted and she helped me right away even when it was busy she took her time to acknowledge my struggles and did it a very professional manner! I definitely will be going back and I hope she works when I visit again! Other than that the food was okay for a bowling alley!
