I have Ate here many times, unfortunately its always a hit are miss..as a butcher shop and charging 15 a sandwich u need to make sure the proportions are correct and not 80 percent bread.

Good to great hot and cold sandwiches that rotate periodically, some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a patio to sit outside and enjoy them. The bread is stellar -- so I'd love to know who supplies it to them! The sandwiches are stuffed, making me feel that I definitely get my money's worth.

I give Schuby's a 4.5/5...so that rounds to 5 in the Yelp grading system.Schuby's has some great sandwiches and some good ones. If I had to give a blind recommendation not knowing the reader's tastes i'd suggest getting the BLTT or the Prosc iutto Parma. If you are there at Happy Hour, you can also try the Meat and Cheese board to get a nice mix of items. [But I recommend getting a full sandwich instead of a Chip and Half] Happy hour petite cocktail is nice as well.Great selection of meats at the counter and a decent selection of cheeses as well.

Honestly one of my favorite places in La Crosse. The best selection in town for high quality meat and deli items. It’s the kind of place you would find in a big city.

Great service, curated selections, unique flavor combinations, and good gluten free options. So far, the best food I've ever eaten in Wisconsin!

Paper thin sliced meat & cheese but they drowned any flavor of them out by putting enough gairdinara for 5 sandwiches on one. Sad because it looks like really good meat & you can't taste it. High priced for what you get so be hoosing Jimmy John's or Erberts & Gerbert's for future munchies fix.

We stopped here for lunch during Oktoberfest. It was not only a nice calm from the crowds but the food was delicious.

Nice place, good meat selection and overall great customer service, you are greet it right as you enter , I appreciate that. We had order the wagyu pastrami sandwich and prosciutto Parma. Sandwich is well made and nicely wrapped. Wagyu pastrami was delicious 4/5 stars- would make it 5/5 if there was a sour note lime a coleslaw that had vinegar or throw in 2 pickles, the prosciutto Parma was well balance 4.5/5 stars, could be 5/5 if there was enough prosciutto to add more of salty savory to balance out the apples and fennel salad in it. Great place would recommend for meats and sandwiches.

Second time here and it blew us away even more! We have gotten the BLTT, Prosciutto de Parma, and the Spicy Italian. All were some of best sandwiches I've had. The BLTT was our favorite of the three, but all blew us away! Scallion potato salad is great too.I love that the meat is local and so much of their sauces and everything are homemade which we always appreciate. Service is always friendly and restaurant is always clean. Fun to browse their unique and local grocery items while you're waiting for your food. They also have some good Happy Hour deals! For special dietary needs: they have gluten free bread and you can make any sandwich into a salad (for keto, gf, etc).
