Everyone knows Gino's pizza is killer. The Italian roast beef was way good. The Lake Geneva location had a great view of the lake. We were staying in the joining hotel so it was also it was very convenient. A 10% discount for hotel stay was a bonus. The service, however, was terrible. My friend waited 20min to get silverware, I had walk up to the bar for another beer, gave up on wanting ketchup...

Plenty of open seats but couldn't get seated. Waited ten minutes before someone even greeted me.

Disappointing food choice quality (other than the famous pizza). $12 pretzel appetizer was stadium quality. Chicken Parm sandwich was clearly food service/cafeteria quality, especially for the price, clearly the chef has limited formal training or leeway to any character. Tablecloth and overall restaurant feel is a bit worn down, need to invest in a window washer as well, but you cannot beat the views of Lake Geneva. I would only consider returning if I ordered the deep dish pizza as beyond that, I would go elsewhere unfortunately.

I never leave reviews but I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. Service was bad, we had someone take our drinks, appetizers, and ordered pizza, and then someone else came and introduced themselves as our server. We got checked up on once and that was to get refills. We ordered a deep dish and a thin crust, deep dish was just ok, the thin crust was so bad I ate one piece and didn’t even want to take the rest home. Extremely over priced. A medium thin crust was $34. Take my advice and stay home on the couch and put some Jacks in the oven.

Where shall I start. The appetizer ordered their version of the sampler called the family platter. The good, well the spinach artichoke dip was really good. The calamari was under cooked, the mozzarella sticks weren't horrible. The spinach mozzarella sticks were watery like they used undrained frozen spinach. Ordered an Italian beef and also a personal deep dish pizza. Beef was not bad, the pizza well...the sauce was watery and the crust was so thin it hardly held up. The waiter practically ignored us, we had to ask for the manager who was apologetic and offered us free dessert which was nice. The brownie was well crispy. For almost $100 it was absolutely not worth it.

Food was good, only complaint was coming in when the restaurant was completely dead expecting faster service. We instead waited around over an hour and had very subpar service.

We went into the bar and was attended to by the bar tender immediately. We ordered and our pizza was delivered quickly. I was impressed.

We stopped by during Winterfest probably the busiest weekends in Lake Geneva. Lack of staff, there were only 2 waitresses managing that day. Had a wait time of 40 mins which is fine since it was a busy day, but the service was really pathetic. Took more than a hour to receive our deep dish pizza, pizza tasted okay. Starters were cold, basically whatever we ordered was cold. Waitress did not bother to check on us even once, most tables seemed frustrated by the service as it seemed forever to get anything. I won’t recommend nor revisit. We really love Gino’s East food and service located in Chicago, so thought to give this place a try but unfortunately that is not the case.

We went for an early dinner at Gino's East in Lake Geneva. We've eaten here before but this will be the last time. Our server (who was apparently new) forgot to order our appetizer,, then didn't check on us for a L-O-N-G time. We finally got the attention of another server and got the appetizer (re)ordered. When the deep dish pizzas arrived the waitress claimed the pans were super hot but the pizza had clearly been out of the oven for some time...not very hot at all. Can't believe we paid over $125 dollars for 2 adults and 2 children and received this level of service. This was a Sunday in January so definitely not peak season by any stretch of the imagination. Such a disappointment.

Staff was awesome! Very lively atmosphere; However the 2 soda’s we got had ice but it melted within 2 minutes and was like luke warm even before the ice melted and it was not carbonated much ($7).. Mozzarella sticks overcooked but nicely crunchy and good cheese not seasoning tho. Spinach Dip was unlike any other i had but it was okay and was cheesy cheesy.. good chips. Deep Dish pizza takes 40-45min buttt it is so worth the wait and is soo good! Highly recommend getting one for takeout when you’re out this way. Not much parking at all so good luck, some nice guy at the hotel let us park in the guest parking for a hour and said make sure to leave right after. THANK YOU SIR! :)
