I’ve been looking forward to it for so long, but it turned out to be a bit disappointment. The harvest onion soup was very salty that we need to add double volume of hot water to dilute it. The veal piccata with broccoli risotto was not too bad, but the piccata sauce was slightly too salty. The Brussels sprouts was not too bad. The fluffy cheesecake felt like whipped cream with cheese flavor - we didn’t like it at all, but I could imagine some people might enjoy it... Overall, not the quality I would imagine - not sure if it’s some local flavor preference (to be very salty) or just a bad day at Medusa...

Chef Greg is amazing! The Staff is great too. I will truly miss your Sicilian filet and your shrimp/Scallop chowder chef Greg! Good luck in your future endeavors. I will miss Medusa's :( I hope to see you and your pup some time.

Always have a great experience dining at Medusa, but last night may have been the best yet. Chef Greg’s talent is unmatched in the region, and I’ve been served superior meals by him over meals I’ve had dining at Michelin star restaurants. Although the area has plenty of fine establishments, Medusa continues to operate on its own level of quality year after year. Excellent cuisine, drinks, service and atmosphere. Just an outstanding dining experience, and highly recommended!

PLEASE, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and go to Medusa's! Go hungry, have a nice bottle of wine and order the Chef's Special! The combo of seafood and meat is a must try! Chef Greg makes everything in house...from the salad dressing, desserts and the gelato! You will not be disappointed!!

Absolutely brilliant food!! Alaskan halibut to die for and the chicken is one of the best we ever had; probably the wood fired effect

I have frequented this gem of a restaurant for many years. As a long time resident of the area I can state with certainty its food and ambience create as good a dining experience as any restaurant in the are for many years. I am thrilled to hear that it will be open for in person dining this summer. Treat yourself to a meal as good as almost any restaurant in Chicago in a casual atmosphere. You will be glad you did.

This place is worth a try. They have big portions for convenient rates. Consistently well organized and with good mood. Will come visit again.

We did take out. Ordered Greek salad, gyro plate, chef's veggie special, chicken/shrimp meal - each as 4 person meals. There were 7 of us. Needless to say, we had plenty! It was all so delicious! Exceeded all expectations. The risotto is extra special, as is the spicy cauliflower. The gyro meat was seasoned perfectly. Will order again, and again!

Was in town for a weekend and this came up as an option. Everything was PHENOMENAL from all food to all desserts. We did take out (cause covid) but it was amazing. 10/10.

Back open for lunch. What a lovely experience.

Everything tastes EXACTLY like IT HAS the same seasonings ON EVERY DISH (a Greek marinade of olive oil, crushed garlic, oregano, lemon juice, salt, and pepper), thus making any choice of protein--and every return visit for a different entree, a nearly identical taste palette for flavors. Moreover, the kitchen's char-grilling relies on past drippings (like the rotisserie-schmaltz-machine used by Burger King), so that whatever comes off Chef Greg's grills tastes overpoweringly like last week's cracklings-crud-smoky dreck and has the same overpowering burnt stench. Some folks love it, but when even my veggies taste just like my fish, fowl, and steak tastes, I say a lack of creativity, grill staff, and a separation in cooking apparatus all simply means you are either lazy, or as a solo chef, you are giving up diversity of flavors for expediency, and that only leads to a boring, redundant, and repetitive dining experience. I do recommend a Greek chicken and dolmas appetizer once in a great while.

I sent my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are fantastic and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we have a splendid time. highly recommended.
