The drinks were good but also no different than other places that serve cocktails in the area. The bolognese was truly lacking in depth and flavor to the point that I saw no difference between it and canned pasta sauce.

I was really really excited to try this farm to table bistro and was not disappointed with the staff and atmosphere, but I did feel that the food and wine selections slightly missed the mark. I did love the place and I did appreciate my meal, but I thought that the beet salad was more dressing and rich extras than it was beets and the shank was too oily and fairly tasteless. I will say that the bed of gnocchi was like eating warm buttery clouds, just delicious!!! My husband had the chop and loved it, but we both agreed that there were no real stand out tastes in any of the core dishes. Finally, the wine by the glass options were really limited, and although we are not picky drinkers, we each had 2 glasses of 2 different reds and didn't care for any of them. All in all, it was a wonderful evening, and we really enjoyed the space, just a little disappointed with our food and wine choices that night. I'm excited to return and try something different next time!Parking: We found parking near by, but I'm going to say that in season that would be fairly impossible.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and bathrooms were accessible but the downstairs seating was very close together and might prove challenging to easily maneuver.

Started out with some drinks. Sent one old fashioned back because it was way too sweet and was replaced but took a long time to replace. Replacement drink was ok but still didn’t taste like an old fashioned. We got the beet salad which came out relatively quickly but was very salty. After ordering entrees we waited for about an hour for them to come and others who were seated after us got theirs much earlier. Entrees were ok but didn’t reflect the prices.Overall, food took a long time and was overpriced.

Visited Sopra for out anniversary dinner, expecting a higher class, intimate dining experience. Not the case, tables are on top of each other & if someone around you wants to get up everyone needs to readjust. Being from Chicago & they claim to take a "Lincoln park" ambiance, I was slightly disappointed, however I see what they meant. The service was mid, because our server was serving so many tables, it was hard for her to be as attentive and I knew she would have liked. She was lovely & new her stuff, we just did a lot of waiting around. As a fellow server, I knew she was trying her best & the lack of employment is not her fault. The food was okay. The Caesar salad lettuce was wilted and brown. The goat cheese appetizer was to die for, so delicious. My partner got pasta "nice mussels, sweety" referring it to taste like clam chowder & very over salted. I ordered the "lakeside pretty" it was bland & said to be served with asparagus but it was served with broccolini. The puree was not garlic, just extremely salty. Another try at the restaurant is definitely in order, however I was not overly impressed.

This is the first time I tried Sopra, and was so pleasantly surprised! I sat at the bar and ordered a vodka martini and progressed to a Sauvignon Blanc with dinner. Both were exceptional, as was the service, which was prompt and friendly! The food was also amazing! We split one of the appetizers and salads, and then ordered my own entree, which was the lamb shank. I honestly don't have any complaints about the dishes - they were delicious! I can't wait to go back and try something new!

For that price to have a steak that over cooked is not good at all. Read reviews about poor service… but figured if good food will deal with it, but wow no thank you, no have a nice day or anything.

As others have stated, the service is not great. Our server was rude, interrupted often, and was arrogant. It was awkward. And as someone else said, we were surprised after being pleasantly greeted by a kind gentleman when we arrived. The food was ok, but didn't match the prices. Pasta was a little too soft and overall lacked amazing flavor. That said, it was the best meal we had the weekend we were in town and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious! Sopra is a great spot in the downtown/Main Street area amongst many other cool places. But this spot seemed like one of the "nicer" places. We had a delicious bottle of sparkling wine, mahi mahi, a great elevated mac 'n cheese type dish with different meats, lobster wontons, ahi tuna, and an awesome chocolate hazelnut dessert. The service was okay, but it was super busy. A reservation is definitely needed. We heard them say to someone that didn't have a reservation that even the bar was reserved. Also, others have mentioned that it's super pricey, but we didn't think the bill was out of control (though we live in CT). Anyway, we were first timer visitors to Lake Geneva, and this place didn't disappoint. Loved it and would definitely return!

Great place. Delicious pasta dishes. Very cozy atmosphere.

When we came in to be seated our reservation the hottess just pointed to our table instead of seating us. She came back to our table 5mins later with menus. Our server was not attentive to us. The kitchen was backed up so food took awhile to come out. Our group understands that happens. However, our waiter never came back for us to order more drinks while we waited. We sat there with empty glasses and waited. When our food came out it was cold. The flavor was there just needed to be hot. The server didn't bring our food out or check on us for quite so time. Our table was never cleared of appetizer plates or empty glass either. We asked for our and it took another 20 mins for him to bring it to us. The chairs are also unbearably uncomfortable. Our whole group couldn't wait to get out of there.

Haven't been here in years and went back. Ambience is great. Food was very good. I had the salmon, bit salty and the potatoes with dill were extremely heavy for what I thought would be a lighter dish. Grilled Caesar was so good! Service was really good until she brought a dessert menu and it seemed like she never came back. We decided to just get a check after that wait. We will be back, lots of great things on the menu we want to try. My husband got the duck and said it was wonderful.

It was a while ago that we were here, however, it was one of the best meals I have had in the area - ever. We left with no complaints whatsoever in regard to food, service or ambience. The octopus... on point.

Came here on a date night with my husband during a family trip. We could smell the overwhelming fish smell before we got to the door. Once we walked in it was horrible! It smelled like leftover fish was cooked in the microwave 100 times. I love fish but this made me nauseous. We decided to stay since we weren’t planning on eating fish but it did not get much better the longer we stayed. When sat down at the table, we were greeted by our waiter who asked us what kind of water and before getting it, let us know that we needed to order our appetizers at the same time as our dinner because they had our table reserved for other guests at 8:30. Our reservation was at 6:15 which we were on time for. We have been to hundreds of fine dining restaurants all over the world and have never felt rushed let alone told we had to order everything at once in order to accommodate their future guests in over 2 hours. Next was a list of menu items that they didn’t have available. It was almost as long as their entire menu. We ordered our food and it just kept getting worse. By the time our salad came out, I was furious. Trying to make the best out of the situation, I politely went to the host stand and requested a different server thinking maybe this is just a bad egg. Nope! The manager told us that this is how fine dining restaurants are run and we are the problem. We immediately walked out. I have NEVER experienced this at any other fine dining restaurant before because most understand that it is about the experience and service. We were spending hundreds of dollars for a dinner for 2 and they were more focused on turning their tables. I can’t tell you how the food was because this all happened before I could try my salad. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. This is not fine dining. This is a fast food place with nice decor.
