How is Sarah for their opening party in their giveaway I was there from beginning to end I did get up one time and go to the bathroom which is not far from the bar I never heard any of the gifts given away I asked a bartender and she said oh we did that you must have been in the bathroom I said you know it just give me my bill I had no don't get me wrong I was there quite a while I had seven beers and I was charged $60 now I am handicapped and owner asked me to move my car since they do not have handicap parking at all and I parked close to the doors I could and when the music people were getting there they needed to have me move my car so they could put their trailer there so they can unload their equipment I complained to the owners who own the next store restaurant to the right of there they said oh that's funny I never heard of any complaints about that place so after I left her I went next door same bar same bartender they charged me $5 for a tap beer you want to waste your money go there but make sure you find out how much you're paying before you order anything or maybe they're just adding their own tip oh yeah by the way the owner never said he was sorry or he'll talk to the bartenders I say don't go thereParking: They do not have handicap parking there is some parking along the corners on the street but if they want you to move it you're going to have to move it makes no sense so the band could bring their trailer and put it there they made a handicapped person move their vehicle sounds right to me not again I wouldn't go there there is plenty of parking in the lot next to the place if you want to go there

They do not serve food, but there is a restaurant nextdoor from which you can order food to be delivered. Also, they only take cash.

I had a family reunion in lake Como over the weekend and both nights we all ended at the thirsty parrot. (7/14 and 7/15) There were probably 15 people in our party the first evening and with it being nice out we decided to sit in the back area outside. The whole night the bartender (Nicki) was beyond rude and it was almost painful for her to pour our drinks. We sat outside for hours and anytime we would come in for a refresh we were meet with a grumpy, upset bartender that obviously did not want our business. It was almost uncomfortable to the extent she went to ignore us, and make us know we were not wanted. Extremely unfortunate because the place is great and you would think someone tending bar would be happy to have patrons. The next evening we all made our way back (grandmas favorite) and the experience was a total 180. The bartender (Kaitlyn) was so sweet and kind, she went out of her way to turn the tiki lights on for us in back and took care of the entire family. When closing out we realized that we were being charged $4 a beer on Friday and 3$ a beer on Saturday!?! Nicki the bartender charged us an extra dollar per beer for 15 people for hours, and than treated us terribly. This women probably pocketed an extra 100 dollars throughout the night. Being a bartender my self that is not the way you treat people. She was so rotten and than stole from me and my entire family? I will make sure that as long as Nicki is working at the parrot anyone and everyone will know she is a thief and has no place to be in the position she is in.

It's ok. Cute atmosphere and nice bartenders, but it's odd that they don't take credit or debit cards. Nowadays, there's literally a POS system for nearly every small business, so that makes it inconvenient.

Very cool tavern! They have an outdoor 'Tiki Bar', food is available also. We were there during a NASCAR race and won a 'drink free until next yellow flag' award which was awesome! Will definitely go back next time I'm out that way.
