This is a small fancy shop with a lot of great products. I came to get a sandwich for lunch. I got a beef roast sandwich and it was excellent. It had a wasabi kind of a spicy kick to it. And it was really hot. If you dont like spicy food may be its not for you. They had 4 flavors of home made gelato, from which I took 3 - spumoni, pistachio and caramel pie. It was really good. I also took a Barons gelato (lavander london fog flavor). That was a good try as well. Saw Mayana chocolate for the first time, so got a mayan spice bar flavor chocolate. Loved it. It had a center of caramel and some spiciness to it. Took amara falso non alcoholic cocktail, it was a little bitter for me. And had a ginger kick. Over all everything from here was good.

Sandwich isn’t enough of a word for what Alimentari (by Pig in a Fur Coat) is creating here. This is where some of the rarest and finest ingredients are combined in the some of the most dope combinations. With just a few bites of the Spicy Soppressata with Giardinera I was pretty sure I could hear angels singing. And just a few bites in there was still so much happiness in sandwich form to enjoy. Portion size is hearty and ample.Sandwiches masterfully redefined. Artisan house-made pasta. Nuance of flavors like only Pig and Fur Coat can accomplish.

A hidden gem! The sandwiches are massive, freshly made, & absolutely fabulous. Definitely try the gelato, check out the fresh pasta & scan the shelves for all your Italian needs.

The most fresh and delicious sandwiches! I stopped in during a weekday to grab a sandwich for lunch. It was order at the counter, grab and go style. The location is great being right off Willy Street. It's close to everything and has a parking lot. After I placed my order at the counter it only took about 5 minutes for them to make my sandwich. I got the prosciutto sandwich. It was so very good! It was big so I could have split it with someone. The bread, mozzarella, tomatoes, and arugula were so fresh. It had a little bit too much meat for me but overall a great sandwich. The balsamic and oil dressing added good flavor. Not only is it a great place to grab a sandwich but it's a mini Italian grocery store. The space is well organized and clean. It was fun looking at all of their cheese, meats, wine, etc. It was hard for me to not get a pint of gelato! The homemade pasta looked incredible as well. I need to stop back in and get some of their grocery items.

Five stars is the only suitable rating given the quality of the sandwiches and the deli offerings. The grocery selection is super broad and you can find pretty much any Italian specialty item not available at a conventional grocery store.

My go to sandwhich shop. It's a little out of the way for me but the quality is worth it. Workers are always very friendly and chill. Word of advice, when they say something is spicy they mean SPICY. No punches pulled at this place.

Every single time I come here I'm compelled to tell every single person I encounter about it I love it I love it I love it I can't get it off my mind I have to call my mom and tell her about it every time. god, the flavor the freshness the love that's poured into it. There's not words for the way I love it, I think maybe I will have to paint you a picture or orchestrate a symphony to tell you how I feel

The atmosphere and service were great. This review will be based on the Italian beef sandwich on the menu and I may update the review when I get the chance to get a cold cut.I walked in and ordered my sandwich. I was out within 5 minutes which was super great.I got the Italian beef sandwich with hot giardiniera. I found that the sandwich ingredients individually were high quality components but the overall sandwich was quite disappointing. Despite the bread being high quality, I found it way too big for an Italian beef sandwich. Unlike other Italian beef places in the Midwest, I found that this sandwich was not dipped and lacked the overall texture that makes an Italian beef sandwich great. The beef itself was not as juicy as I was hoping. It felt dried and boring lacking any real unique personality and flavor.I tried the Calabrian style potato chips alongside the sandwich and those were some of the best chips I have had at a sandwich shop hands down.Overall, I felt indifferent about the experience albeit the sandwich I particularly went for was pretty mid. I am willing to give it another shot with a cold cut sandwich at another point.

Got there at 6pm an hour before close...out of bread, floors being mopped, everyone cleaning and serving dirty stares. Very awkward silence, like they wanted us to get out. Usually dont care much about service, but that was off-putting. And if you've been running out of bread for more than 4 years...maybe you should change something?
