The service was fine. The atmosphere is, well, a bar. Also fine. But, the food was not that great. I ordered the exploding pig. It had 2 strips of bacon on top of a few of deli slices of ham and cheese. Not impressed. The pretzel bun was the best part and I don't eat bread often. I also had onion rings on the side. Equally disappointing. They were dry and the onion slices were so thin it was mostly batter, dry batter.

I had the boom boom shrimp wrap. It was fantastic. It even had a little kick to it, which I really appreciated. The onion rings I had as my side were mediocre. Very little onion in them. I liked the small nook with only a couple of tables. It separated the bar scene so that my group could converse and enjoy our meal. Our server has a tendency to say things as she was walking away, which made it impossible to catch everything. The food was brought out promptly. Our server checked on us a few times.Vegetarian options: They had a black bean veggie burger along with several vegetarian appetizers.Parking: The parking lot is not accessed from Seminole.
One of my favorite spots for a burgera and a drink. Joel and Kim are great as always, not to mention Holly during the day.

Im proud to say this is my neighborhood bar/restaurant. Badger tavern has had name changes and ownership changes but the quality and environment haven’t changed a bit. Plenty of parking on street or in the parking lot and the bar is definitely handicapped accessible. The patio in the warm seasons is awesome. I have tried most every item and they are all delicious. Top five items in no real order are any of the burgers from locally sourced suppliers, wontons, Philly cheesesteak, fish fry(both), and the Ruben(not Turkey).There is plenty of seating at the bar and also a huge selection of high tops and booths. Play some pull tabs and have a cocktail while you wait. You won’t regret stopping in to check it out!
