It was my first time eating at Blue Moon. I should’ve gotten a burger but I ended up getting the California Rueben with waffle fries. Both were very good! I will need to try a burger next time. We went for lunch on Fish Fry Friday, which was obviously pretty busy. Place was packed!

We were staying nearby while my wife was doing tests at the university hospital. Went there for dinner on a Wednesday and had the fish. It was excellent and the mashed potatoes were amazing. Great little place. Only downside was both days we were there there was a loud guy that was annoying, but hey it’s a bar. Good food, beer and service. And if you like a drink called a old fashioned, you got to try one of those.

Cheese curds and waffle fries are excellent. My husband and son liked their burgers. The patties are large and look handmade. I had the chicken black and Blue salad. Lots of blue cheese pieces, too heavy on the red onion, which was very strong and not enough tomato. Interesting atmosphere. Lots of fun pinball games on the second floor and only .25 a game!
