“Visited today for Easter brunch. Not our first visit. As always, love the atmosphere and the food. Staff are always very pleasant. The amount and variety of food is well above average. There were 7 meats being carved at the table today. Ham, pork, chicken, sausage, lamb and two types of beef. In addition to the cinnamon dusted pineapple. All were excellent. The buffet food was very good with a few small exceptions. The lamb ragu was not good. The noodles were very overcooked and mushy. The breakfast potatoes were also way overdone. However, all the salads, the eggs, bacon, very large shrimp, cheeses, veggies and all the desserts were definitely on point. As a matter of fact I tried 9 desserts and 8 of them were excellent. My husband said his brandy old fashioned was excellent. I initially ordered a chocolate martini (my ho to drink) and it was NOT good. I asked our waitress to take it away and bring me a sparkling wine (the sweetest they offer) instead. Honestly, not impressed with that either but by that point I'd given up on getting a good drink. That was disappointing considering we used to get good chocolate martinis here in the past. All in all it was a nice meal and we will be back again. But I really hope they can figure out the bar/drink situation before we return as I generally have 2-3 drinks per meal.“
